I Got my little rav about a month ago. I LOVE IT! its fun to drive, Gets great MPG, And has a AWESOME sound system! Plenty of passenger room. Gives You a sense of security. The ride is smooth. I have really pushed my rav to see what it can do...and belive me it has PLENTY OF POWER. I was going 90+ MPH. Thats more than enough then you need. but over all if i had to find another Mini-suv, i wouldnt get anything else but a Toyota Rav4

After trading in a 2001 Rav4 we purchased a new 2005. It has been a pleasure to own, and wish Toyota still made this style. We like the size, it has plenty of zip, not bad on gas, easy to park, and great in the snow with the AWD. I do most of my own work and changed the wires and plugs at the 100,000 mile mark. The only maintenance was a new battery, front brakes, tires, new rear shocks, and runs like the day it left the dealers lot. It also helps that it is garage kept.

This is my third Toyota, and my second RAV-4 - I previously had a 2003 2WD model and decided to upgrade to the 2005 4WD "L" model. I couldnt be happier! The engine was improved in 2004 providing more horsepower which completely removed the "gut-less" reputation the RAV-4 had. This vehicle has plenty of get-up-and go for a 4- cyl. SUV! Stylish and fun to drive, while achieving high safety and reliability ratings. The standardization of anti-lock breaks and the additional air bags make the "L" model a top choice!

This is a right hand drive. I have owned a lot of other makes and Toyota is still the best bang for the buck. Ive read all the reviews on the RAV4 and they all hit the mark. Theres more than enough room, power and performance built into this vehicle.

This was my first Toyota ever and I wished I had done it sooner! I now have reached 100K miles and it runs the same as when I bought it. I have never had any major problems with it. Front brakes around 50K and regular maintenance at recommended mileage. Original Tires replaced at 36K which is better than expected. BF Goodrich now have 64K and still good tread. I have never done a wheel alignment on this vehicle. I have tracked my mileage and it was exactly the 24 MPG overall that Toyota said it would be. It is only FWD so in winter I take it easy but this has been a very reliable vehicle for us. The utility has been great and removable seats are wonderful. I am very satisfied with it.

A great car/truck for New York City driving. Easy to parallel park and handles those pot holes with ease. After getting rid of my 10 year old car, it is good to have the feel of a tight suspension again. Although my wife uses the car to go back and forth to work, I look forward to the weekends when I do the driving and we plan more "Road Trips" for this fall and winter.

I waited a while to switch to an SUV and as soon as I saw the RAV I knew it was the one. I am a loyal Toyota driver but did try other SUVs for comparison and I made a beeline back to the RAV. Toyota also offers very very good customer care. They are real people friendly. My first car was a Toyota Corolla SR5 in 1987 and I am sure my last car will be a Toyota.

  • "Almost" Perfect.... - 2005 Toyota RAV4

Not very comfortable for driver on long drives. Vehicle is listed at 21mpg city and 28mpg highway. After the first year my mpg went down to 18 city and 25 highway. I can barely get 280 miles from a tank of gas in the city. Dealership says nothing wrong. (dealerships are all rip-offs) Exhaust has a rattle at low rpms. Other than that, I love this car. After 3.5 years and 37000 miles, it has needed NO repairs other than scheduled maintenance. The most reliable car Ive ever owned.
