I love this car! - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By thomas144 - August 22 - 2:00 amIve never owned a car I was so crazy about. Fun to drive. Great ride. Plenty of power. Practical. My only minor complaint is that for a car with tons of headroom, the rear hatch doesnt quite raise up high enough, and I have a tendency to hit my head on it. I went to the dealership expecting to buy a Highlander, but didnt like it after 2 test drives, so I tried a Matrix on a whim and I loved it from the start.

I love it! - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By Reynolds853 - July 11 - 2:00 amI havent given this car a second thought since buying it, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. Its easy to drive, gets good mileage, u-turns on city streets are no problem, and with the rear seats folded down it can hold my bicycle without taking the wheels off. Fold down the front seat, and you can fit all that stuff you bought at Home Depot. I also like the driving position - you sit up higher than in other compact wagons. The seats are tall, like in a minivan, which gives you much better visability in traffic. Visability out the back is compromised by the narrow windows back there, but once youre used to it, its not a problem.

Nat bad for the money - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By barlo - December 22 - 10:00 amThis is a very good car for the money. Handling ist bad. Good pick up with the 5 speed. Not bad looking inside and out. When the back seats are down, it has almost as much if not more cargo room than some mid sized SUVs. Plenty of passenger room in back seat. Their knees wont hit the back of the front seat. For the money and compared to whats out there. You wont find better. And its a Toyota.

I love this car!!! - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By MAHTOCIRET - June 22 - 10:00 amI dont understand why Toyota isnt advertising the Matrix in my area (Central CA)- maybe they dont have to! I love the seats - really comfortable. I like the way Im sitting higher than I was in my Sebring. Now I can see traffic better. The fuel economy is always a plus and the fact that it wont begin to fall apart after the warrantee expires (from experience with my husbands Celica) is a big relief! Mine is light blue and I get all sorts of complements on it - a lot of people haave never heard of the Matrix and are impressed with the interior space and the nice lines. GREAT CAR!!!!!!!!!!!
