New owner - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By Hotspotter - March 10 - 10:00 amDont bother with the paint protection package grab a bottle of Nu Finish and save yourself the cost. I would not recommend the AWD model unless you are in a northern climate where it can get a workout in the snow.

Cool Car - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By lxg - March 10 - 10:00 amThe car is cool. I love the look. Great headroom, easy to get in and out of, excellent fit and finish & lots of interior space. I recently drove my Matrix from Washington, DC to NYC thru rain storms. Nothing bothered this car and at 80mph with the a/c on the car got over 32mpg. With the 6 disc radio we did not run out of music. Excellent seats and plenty of room.

XR Equals ZOOM! - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By Toyotabill - February 25 - 2:00 amIn town and on the road, my Matrix XR is fun to drive and all around affordable. My advice is read the information on the Net, test drive one and then make own decisions. There is so much bias around that you have to do your homework or you will not get the whole story. After downszining from a 1995 Ford Explorer, my feeling is that Ford is toast! Toyotas quality and pound for pound performace is so far superior that it is just amazing. No more overweight, inherantly unsafe American gas guzzlers for me.

Slightly neurotic but great car/fun - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By okmatrixxrs - December 31 - 1:23 amUnbelievable gas mileage. Amazing power from such a small, naturally aspirated engine, and Toyota quality! Who could ask for anything more!

My Matrix - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By Toby A Turner - November 22 - 8:40 pmThis is the smallest car I have owned and it is great! Gas mileage, fit into the garage, parking spaces, maneuverability and comfort, are all advantages I have not experienced with larger autos. The color is solar yellow and easy to spot on a parking lot! There is plenty of room for my friends as passengers and with the adjustable bucket seat, they can be comfortable too.

Get one RIGHT NOW! - 2004 Toyota Matrix
By EmilyRugburn - September 2 - 2:00 amI love my car! We got a great deal on it, too. Its so much fun to drive, and I love the fact that its got a Corolla engine (dependable!). Yay Ive been averaging gas mileage, and even though weve had it since Thanksgiving, the car has only been filled up 4 times! It averages about 32 MPG, and I do lots of city driving. I imagine the gas mileage would improve even more if I babied it on the road. Ive been seeing more of them on the road. Gotta be that sporty style paired with the incredible sticker price!
