Overview & Reviews
After a full redesign last year, the Corolla carries over unchanged for 2004.
- Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, illustrious reliability record.
- Awkward driver-seat position, bland personality, sedan body style only.

It wasnt as good as my last 2 Corollas - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By ksconway - August 10 - 10:00 amWhen I bought my 2003, it was the 3rd Corolla I had owned, and Id always loved them. That changed after the first time I drove it on the highway a month later. When the wind blew, the car was pushed a bit, the car was not entirely stable at 55 mph, and it was especially not stable at speeds in excess of 55 mph. I was actually afraid to drive the Corolla on the highway, especially the day we were having snow squalls and wind, and although I was only going 45 mph on the highway, the car was blown a couple of lanes over and I almost went into a truck. At that point I decided to buy a new car. I was very disappointed.

2004 Corolla - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By JaxBon - August 10 - 2:00 amI love my new Corolla!! I own a 1994 model, with 186,000 miles on it, and it still runs like I just drove it off the lot. There is such a huge loyalty factor when dealing with Toyota cars. I dont know of another manuf. with such reliablity. I definitely expect my 2004 model do treat me as well as my "old" one--which, by the way, my husband and I chose to keep! I love all of the improvements. They definitely made all of the right changes.

A Big Car in a Small Package!!!! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Dougn - August 10 - 2:00 amI Love this car...It has a great ride when on the road. It is quiet in the cabin and has a roomy interior. This is my First Toyota and I am very impressed with this car.I have had Nissans in the past and they were good cars but this car looks and feels so much classier. This car is a must for everyone who wants to save on gas and wants a big car feel in a small package.

Gota Love it! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Sassydion - August 10 - 2:00 amIn 1985 I purchased my very first brand new car, and it was a Corolla... Years later my next new car was a 2004 Toyota Corolla! I love my car and this model and design is FANTASTIC! I have a black one with painted on pin strips and of course "Gold Package". I do alot of turnpike traveling and I feel very confident that I will not break down and if the weather is bad my car will make it to my destination!

Great, Great Little Car! - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By Toyguy - August 10 - 2:00 amThis is my second new Corolla. My last one was a 95 that went for 160+ thousand miles. This 04 is a fun little car. It feels really big inside, looks sporty outside. Im getting 33 MPG combined city/highway. I added bigger wheels and wider tires and that helped the handling (its tall, so it sways a bit in the corners.) Its fit and finish is like a luxury car -- very impressive. Its a kick on the road and not on the pocketbook.

Excellent - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By alpha_1976 - August 6 - 9:05 amI did a review earlier after driving about 2K. Now it has 100K miles on it and still going strong no issues anywhere. The only maintenance done is the book. I also switched to full synthetic at 90K miles and there are no leaks or anything even after 10K miles. I might have to check my struts later but that is expected at 100K miles anyway. MPG is great.

COROLLA S - 2004 Toyota Corolla
By CKING - July 10 - 10:00 amThoroughly enjoy this car. The look is terrific. Excellent pick up. More interior room than the 2001 Corolla LE which I also own. Only wish the center console arm rest was a bit higher.
