This Year's Model Updates:

Toyota's perennially best-selling family sedan gets a complete makeover for 2007. Among the highlights are a roomier interior, additional luxury-oriented features, an available 268-hp V6 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, and a gasoline-electric hybrid model that earns EPA fuel economy estimates of 43 mpg city/37 mpg highway.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, powerful V6 engine, hybrid model available, legendary build quality and reliability history.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available with V6, some odd styling elements.

We have had great success with this purchase. The dealership was not much help and costly but the vehicle has been very reliable for the past 7 years. No major malfunctions. It does use a little oil. Toyota had a recall on this but with a "Toyota Test" they decided it did not use enough oil to warrant a fix. It uses about a quart over 1500 - 2000 miles.

Bought Toyota Camry based on quality reputation. We have 2001 Highlander also. Begining there were recalls (leak above driver side visor let water in, gas pedal/accelerator/floor mat issue, VVT (sp?) hose, transmission slippage). At 89K miles water pump broke. Dealer said its $1,400 to replace as V6 models have major labor to remove engine parts to get at pump. I had replaced Ols Intrigue that had same issue at 105K miles and was much cheaper to replace. Will not buy Toyota again...will go with Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, or Hundai Sonata.

We love the pick up the car has, Im impressed with the gas MPG. Its been very true to advertisement on saving gas. This car rides so smooth you feel like youre floating. Its easy to handle and Fun to Drive. The 3 kids have more than enough room in the back to be comfortable. Truck space isnt limited and I really enjoy that with 3 children and all their things.

Clean, smooth and roomy. A bit loud in the car but adequate.

The 2007 Camry is a great car. It is not meant to be a sports car. It is a sporty sedan. I recommend that you consider getting it in the V6 model because of the cars weight. The 4 cylinder just is not enough power. I love the way my V6 drives. The handling is great. The fuel efficiency of the vehicle is great. I saved so much on gas. If you are looking for a fun sedan, I recommend that you buy it.

This is my first new car and Im happy I went with the Camry. This car has plenty of pick up and go even with the in line four cylinder engine along with good gas mileage and handling. Not to mention the new body style is awesome. Overall everything is great and Im now a loyal Toyota owner.

Sat in the cockpit of this of the V6 Camry SE 3 yrs ago, test drove and fell in love with it. 3 yrs later, still happy with the choice we made. I love the V6 kick, turning radius is to die for, very roomy interior makes for a great road trip car, do a 6 day, 40- mile/day commute plus some city, yet fill my tank twice/month, thats MPG!. Other than routine maintenance, havent heard a squeak from this car 30K later. Have had only positive experiences with this car, so no plans to sell or trade this comfortable reliable car anytime soon!

  • Toyota has no credability - 2007 Toyota Camry

My 2007 4 cylindercamry has always vibrated in drive with the ac on when stopped. This is how the dealer handled it. First we changed to name brand high test gas. Then we had multiple computer adjustments to 750 rpm at idle. In a short time it dropped to 500 rpm and back to the vibration. Then they did a top engine cleaner at a cost to me of $100.00 now they they say I need a new throttle valve assembly that is defective at a cost of $1000.00 dollars. Toyota will pick up $500.00 but alas its out of warranty! P. S. Toyota awful. Never again
