  104K Still Going Strong - 2003 Toyota Camry

  Bought this vehicle new in 2003. Oil changes every 3k, brakes around 54k, all needed service completed. Water pump replaced, on my 3rd set of tires. Intermediate steering shaft needs replacement, not a safety issue just annoying knock sound. My a/c light blinks from time to time lately causing the a/c to not work. This appears to be a relay that needs replacement which is common. Other then what I would call minor issues with a vehicle with over 104k miles on it, its treated me fantastic. Still getting 34 mpg highway 25 mpg around town. Engine sounds just like the day I bought it, amazing. Honestly, the car is just as sound today as the day I bought it! I would buy another in a sec.

  I have owned this car since 2003 when it was bought brand new. I am 29 now and the car now has a bit over 126,000 miles. I have not experienced the dreaded stripping head bolts yet, and hope I never have to experience it. Ideally, I would love to use this car until 300,000 miles. I bought the car because of Toyotas reputation on reliability. I have added lots of mods on this LE, Homelink, HID projector headlamps from a Lexus, Wood grain, Fog Lights from the XLE model, TRD rear sway bar, just to make this car a bit fun to drive. I love it thus far, no real problems yet and hopefully forever.

  2003 Toyota Camry LE V6 Auto - 4 Door. Being a long time Chrysler/Plymouth owner and advocate, this is my first experience with a Toyota. It is impressive. The Camry is very well designed, engineered and constructed. Dashboard devices are reachable/obvious without driver distraction. The ride is straight, quiet and smooth - forward and side driver visibility is excellent. The vehicle feels sure- footed on highways and secondary roads and corners/turns without tilt or sway. The V6 engine provides plenty of power for hills but does not overpower the vehicle. All in all the Camry handles very well.

  Toyota has done it once again. I bought this car with 33,000 miles, and just changed the tires due to the carelessness of the previous owner mixing tires. This car is probably one of the most comfortable cars on the highway you can afford. With the MacPherson shocks you and the passengers wont feel a thing. We took a road trip Ohio to Illinois in it, and the people sitting in the back slept the whole way, not even a sound or bump woke them up. The best part about this car is the engine and transmission, it is unlikely you would hear the engine and feel the transmission shift.

  This was my first Toyota after a number of substandard American manufactured cars. Ive been converted. This car has performed spectacularly for over 2 years of driving. It has retained its value better than any other car Ive owned. And its gotten better mileage than even the advertised sticker mileage, even using regular gasoline. I will always look to buy Toyota first from now on.

  I have driven BMW, Porsche, Cadillac and several other exotic cars, but none compare to the "feel" of the Toyota Camry. I know the 4 cylinder doesnt have the "pep" of a Porsche, but it still feels great to drive. The combination of comfort, ease of steering, fuel economy and fairly decent acceleration makes it great all- around.

  I had my heart set on a new Altima and my wife wanted a new Accord - that all changed when we saw the Camry SE. It really caught us off guard - not at all like we expected. We tested several other cars, but kept going back to the Toyota dealership. Im not sure why people complain about the style - I think its great! The car gets lots of admiring glances at traffic lights - just wish it had a bit more power. I could not justify spending the extra money for the V6. My driving is generally split between city/highway - city driving is good, but highway cruising is what this car excels at. Were very impressed and I think well be Toyota owners for life!
