One Great Truck! - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By ryanmb21 - February 2 - 4:33 amTwo weeks after buying this 4runner I installed a 3 inch lift and 32" tires the resulting stance is much improved over stocks low nose. I will comment that these trucks are perfect for lifting 2-3 inches as the CV angles up front are in a squatted position. 50K miles later including several off-road trips and snowy jaunts to the mountains this 4runner continues to impress! I love it! All I do is oil changes and never had a problem, 100% recommend!

Coulda had a V8 and did !!! - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By Poway and Lovin it - November 21 - 3:40 pmTest drove many SUVS in the mid size position and the 4runner came out on top. Great fit and finish by comparison to others. Plenty of power with the V-8 for sure... V-6 probably would do OK as I do not tow but wow!!!...is it smooth...got it loaded w/o 3rd row seats and DVD entertainment set as the dogs dont need it. Love the interactive Navigation system and the Bluetooth works great...much needed hands free capability brings civility.

Love my 4Runner - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By Don - October 24 - 4:33 pmFirst off, I love the looks of the vehicle. It has a very rugged but very stylish appearance. Its looks suggest rugged off-road ability as well as city appeal. The vehicle often attracts looks from others.

2006 Toyota Limited V8 Black - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By Allen - September 25 - 4:43 amThis is the first car the wife and I both just love. Was great in deep snow. We also like the 110 outlet right in the center console. Power seats with 2 preset adjustments is really nice. We average about 17.5 city and hwy, and about 19/20 on just hwy at 75.

Awesome SUV - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By se4r - September 3 - 5:30 pmFirst SUV owned, got it because starting a family and to be able to make trips to the snow without worry. Great truck, love everything about it, A/C design needs some work but you get used to it. Too bad MPG cant be a tad better, but it is a SUV after all. Surprising good ride and strikes the perfect balance of truck, smoothness and sportiness.

2006 4 Runner SR5 4X V6 - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By Dan Rutkowski - August 23 - 3:00 amGreat acceleration with the V6. You definitely have all the power you need. Handles turns at extraordinarily high speeds. The suspension is a little bumpy but much smoother than earlier models. There is a bit of outside noise factor. Great sound system. Back seat passangers are very comfortable with their own climate control and plenty of leg room. City MPG run lower than advertised but on the open highway they run much higher than advertised. Overall it is a fun safe car to drive.

Wow - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By jw - July 28 - 9:10 pmWow! This car has to be the best suv of its size on the market today. It looks good and drives smooth. Im getting about 20mpg which I think is great. Its not a 4cylinder car of course. It has all the great advancements and new technology that makes toyota what it is today. Toyota is about quality and customer loyalty. They know that car is going to last a couple hundred thousand miles and when your through you gonna get a new toyota.

Awesome SUV - 2006 Toyota 4Runner
By shrimper - June 23 - 10:00 amWeve had this SUV for 4+ years and have no repairs at all except new brakes at 95,000 miles. We have 110,000 on it now and it works like it did the day we brought it home.
