Bigger and better mileage - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Skiller - December 9 - 12:33 amI traded up from 97 4 runner, and this Bigger 04 has extra seating, wider interior, larger engine, and the mileage is better than the smaller V-6 from 1997! I average 20 city, and 22- 24 on road! Great large size 4 runner, but I miss the sport car fell of the smaller body! I find the heat and air are not evenly distributed, so that needs to be fixed by Toyota. Overall still a stylish SUV than grabs your attention, very quiet ride, nice power curve for towing.

Its About Time! - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Rich F. - December 3 - 10:00 amI have owned 4 Jeep Grand Cherokees and One Jeep Cherokee prior to purchasing this Toyota 4Runner over July 4th Weekend. All that I can say is WOW, What a difference. The build quality, ride, comfort, etc... is head and shoulders above the Jeeps. As much as I enjoyed my Jeeps, I got tired of the warped rotors every 12,000-15,000 miles. So far, So Great with the 4Runner. I expect to keep it for at least 100,000 miles, if not more.

Luxury Without the High Price - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By fanatic - December 3 - 10:00 amNice, comfortable vehicle which handles well in any terrain. Quiet for a truck based SUV. I drive the Ford Expedition also and it is night and day as far as handling, power (yes, Toyotas V6 out does it)and just the overall quality. For example, when you shut the doors on a Ford, it sounds like a tin can. The Toyota sounds solid and sturdy. I recommend this vehicle to any family that needs 7 seats and wants to feel safe.

Best SUV Ive Ever Owned - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Clint DeBrular - November 26 - 2:30 amOwning this vehicle has been nothing short of joyous. I cant say enough about the build quality. My other mode of transportation is a BMW m-5 and Ive got to say that it is just as well built as that $70,000.00 BMW! Not only is it built well but the performance is just as stunning. Road handling is carlike while off road is just what you would expect from a real truck. Plus, you can pull up to a fancy resturant and still hold your head high. Ford, Chevy, Dodge -- I dont think so. Give me a Toyota 4-Runner any day of the week.. and twice on Sunday.

Solid Built Vehicle - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Obadiah - October 21 - 10:00 amOur second Toyota. Previous Toyota had 154k miles on it with NO significant repairs whatsoever; car would have easily gone another 100k. The 4Runner clearly has the same quality build feel to it. Seating is very comfortable. Ride and handling is pleasant. Good looks, both inside and out. When you plunk down 30k for a vehicle you better do your homework! With the 4Runner you get a solid, all- around vehicle with minimal risk.

I named her - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By ChristineGJohnson - October 21 - 10:00 amI initially wanted a converible and it was a toss-up between the Solara and the Sebring. "The Hulk" was on the show room floor and I fell in love.
