Lemon - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By D&C - June 13 - 10:00 amWe look around for a new car fro almost 4 months before we both the gt. We have know 158,000 km on the car and have replaced 4 turbos and are on our 3 engine. At 120,000 we had a the last turbo replace and then moved again. 18,000 km later the engine had a broken piston and needed to be rebuild once again. Phoned Subaru Canada they told us that they could see that we had a lot of bad luck with the car as all records are kept on there computers. But because we moved and lost our maintenance records and only could show them the records for the service work that we did after the new turbo was put in they did not help us. We have had rebuild but are not trusting the car any more and traded in.

Cant Ask for More - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By karl newman - June 10 - 3:06 pmAWD with style, comfort, and great interior all for less than 25K. Mileage has been great so far, about 25 mpg and AWD works well on this winters ice and snow. Feels very solid and quiet.

2005 Legacy 2.5 GT Ltd - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By sethshaw - June 9 - 9:20 amIve driven only 1000 miles and conclude that the level of refinement and performance is probably the best Subaru has ever engineered. I was eager to buy the STi last year, but in waiting for the 2005 Legacy GT sedan, I was rewarded with a car thats at least 80% of the STis performance with considerably more everyday- driving appeal and utility. Highly recommended -- terrific value.

Legacy Wagon 2.5i - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By Greg - May 31 - 1:00 amLast year I purchased the 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5i wagon. I have been very impressed with the overall fit and finish of this vehicle. Its safety features were excellent and numerous. Its projected resale value was excellent. This vehicle has met and exceeded all of my expectations. I will be a Subaru owner for life.

i like this car - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By j jersey - May 28 - 12:56 pmi have own the car for 1mth now and enjoy it very much.it fun to drive and its practical. the fuel economy is poor (but i knew bout it) and the cd player is not mp3 compatible and it climate control isnt the best but not not worst. the turbo engine is powerful enough to cause other drivers to do a double take and electron shift was a pleasant surprise. will try to give a 1yr review also to keep people inform

Good enough - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By ckc - April 28 - 10:16 amThis car replaced my 01 Audi S4 Avant. I didnt miss it anymore. This is a very good drivers car. Great utility. Good stereo with power sub. Shifting could be smoother, but the Short shifter is great. Several service related problems: low steering and gear oil noted within the first month of driving, malfunction cruise control that dealer cant fix until another dealer changed the O2 sensor. (I complained to manufacturer). Battery leak led to corrosion of the bracket; dealer replaced the battery.

The car to buy... - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By kohanlon - February 7 - 7:00 pmThe all wheel drive, 250 hp engine, way it hugs the road, sharp look inside and outside, smooth ride, 6 airbags, gentle braking and overall fun make this car a great buy. It has everything a person needs and wants in a vehicle. It has the luxury to compete with more expensive cars, the power of a sports car and safety for your most precious cargo. All it will take is one test drive to prove to you that this is not the Subaru of old but one that fulfills the potential of a Subaru vehicle.

My Sports Sedan - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By genee - January 16 - 1:46 pmThis is my 3rd Subaru. Although I love my Outbacks, my goal was to treat myself to a fun-to-drive awd sedan w/great handling and smooth, powerful acceleration. Oh yes, I want the one w/all the perks too. Mission accomplished! For someone who hadnt driven a turbo, I needed to adjust (and Im glad I did). I test drove this car 4 times at various dealerships to make sure this car was for me. Im sure.

Legacy GT-- Best Bang for the Buck - 2005 Subaru Legacy
By wsholar - January 10 - 5:40 amThrilled with my GT-- fast, nimble, stable, smooth, comfortable, quiet, reliable, and practical. What more could you possibly want from a $25K sport sedan? Maybe a German badge?
