As the Impreza was redesigned just last year, not much changes for 2003. Convenience has been improved; keyless entry is now standard equipment on the 2.5 RS, TS Sport Wagon and Outback Sport. For the WRX, Subaru will offer a standard rear spoiler on the sedan (though you can still get the car without, if you want) and Sonic Yellow is available as an exclusive WRX color.

• A stout 227 horsepower in the WRX, all-wheel-drive grip, a variety of sedans and wagons to choose from.

  Stiff chassis and solid steering make this car fun to drive. I look for road bumps that used to scare me in my Honda Accord. The railroad tracks are a real hoot. Gas mileage is lower than my Honda but the acceleration is far superior. the engine is smooth and strong.

  Great driving experience. Wait for light next to BMWs etc, and watch them in your review mirror in seconds. A lot of fun to drive especially in winding country roads.

  I think the bug-eyed look is cool, I took a 700 mile road trip two weeks ago and it ran like a champ. Seating is comfortable and I like the engine sound from a boxer engine.

  The most fun car Ive ever had. This is the perfect blend of practicality and performance. It is as close to a full-on race car as most of us will ever need, while offering a good deal of safety and convenience in a very confidence-inspiring package. You cant help but love it after you drive it.

  This car is an awsomely fun drive. Very good pick-up, very quiet. Quite a sleeper. Unexpected power from only a 4 cyl. Everyone I have let drive this car loves it. (Even my Porsche friend) Outstanding handling around turns. Good everyday driver also.

  Most fun Ive ever had driving an affordable car. Unbelievalbe handling, great in snow. Good power through all gears, except going really slow in second, use first gear. Suspension is perfect, stiff enough, not too much.

  I chose my black WRX wagon over an Acura RSX-S. I am glad I did. This car is fast, handles great, drives well, and has been a reliable work horse. I only wish I had hills, curves, and snow to drive it in.
