Overview & Reviews
As the Impreza was redesigned just last year, not much changes for 2003. Convenience has been improved; keyless entry is now standard equipment on the 2.5 RS, TS Sport Wagon and Outback Sport. For the WRX, Subaru will offer a standard rear spoiler on the sedan (though you can still get the car without, if you want) and Sonic Yellow is available as an exclusive WRX color.
- A stout 227 horsepower in the WRX, all-wheel-drive grip, a variety of sedans and wagons to choose from.
- Often pricey when compared to its competition.

My First Subaru - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By WangDAT - July 6 - 4:46 amFirst thing I noticed when I drove this car home from a SoCal dealership was how quiet the engine was compared to all the Honda Civics Ive owned. Its suprisingly fuel efficient if you stay off the boost, I netted 450 miles on a tank on that trip back home, where I average approximately 70 mph. Gas is now $2.90 for premium in my area, so this was a really pleasant suprise. The motor is pretty laggy though, but once youre in boost, its heaven. The handling is awesome and still offers a pretty good ride. I feel this car has the perfect mix of power, handling, braking, and fuel economy... at any price. My co-worker owns a 2001 Audi S4 and this car feels like a 9/10 version of it.

2002 WRX Sedan - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By Sox - April 6 - 10:00 amTruly an amazing car. Handles like a dream in snow, ice and rain. Turns heads like nobodys business. A great, reliable, quick, funtional car. You can take this to the track and then on a roadtrip and not have to change a thing. Trunk is huge. Ive actually fit 3 people in the back for a 3-hour trip.

Inexpensive WRX alternative - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By tjhenn - February 28 - 2:00 amI looked at the WRX wagon initially, but decided the extra $4000 and higher insurance rates werent worth it. The TS is a fun, sporty driving car with the benefit of AWD and the Insureance Institute for Highway Saftey best crash rating. I like its "quirky" styling because you dont see much else like it on the road. The 2.5l engine provides plenty of power for freeway driving and the mountains. Much better than the Saturn its replacing. The back seats might be a little cramped for adults over 57" on long trips and Id like to see alloy wheels and keyless entry made standard, but those are my only major gripes. Very solid, fun car to drive.

Dodge Ram 4x4 to WRX!!! - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By ram11213 - February 23 - 10:00 amWhat a switch!! All I have ever driven has been a full size truck. My last was a Ram. I feel like Im driving a Go-Cart!! I love it! I think the car has awesome bold styling and nice headlights. It is an absolute blast to drive. Its like having a toy and a commuter car all in one. The WRX is so versatile, sports car or hauler!

Fun to drive and good sporty design.... - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By smith168 - January 16 - 2:00 amI had never thought about getting a WRX, but after test driving my friends I couldnt resist. I didnt know I would love this car so much until I own it. This car has got a decent amount of horsepowers, great performance, sporty interior and exterior design, 6 CD changer and it comes with so many other standard manufacture options that so many new cars out there call optional.

Not your moms wagon. - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By Navy Tech - January 16 - 2:00 amFrom the first look at this car you know its not the typical grocery getter. The Unique styling and loud but tasteful blue makes this car very attactive. And after sitting the High bolster sport style seats you know for sure this aint you mommas wagon. Loads of fun to drive, yet still useful for loading you friends and snowboards in. Little pricy butr well worth the extra money. You get more than what you paid for.

fun 2 drive - 2003 Subaru Impreza
By Avalita - December 13 - 10:00 amThis is my first new car and I love it! I have had three cars before this one and none comes close to this. Every where I go I get comments on how nice my car is. Not to mention it is quick off the line and really fun to drive. I love the look on peoples faces when they see me fly past! My only complaint is that the back seet is too small.
