A new 3.5-liter V6 replaces the previous 3.0-liter unit. Larger 17-inch wheels and tires are now standard on the V6 AWD model and optional on the front-wheel-drive version. Antilock brakes are standard on all V6 models. The interior has been upgraded to reduce noise and now incorporates metallic and leather trim. The front seats now have seatbelt pre-tensioners and dual-stage front airbags. New entertainment choices include MP3-compatible CD players, satellite radio and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system (late availability).

  We purchased the Vue in March 2004 and have had no problems thus far. My wife loves the vehicle. She lets me drive on road trips only. The Honda engine is a must. Plenty of power and good gas mileage compared to the bigger SUVs. We get 26 mpg on interstate trips. The car came with On Star and XM radio. My wife was in a minor auto accident and used the On Star when the local 911 would not answer a cell call. The XM is great for long trips. We would recommend this one over the Honda CR-V (I have owned five Hondas) or Jeep Liberty. And it is American assembled!

  I LOVE this car. I do not understand what you mean about the sloppy stearing? It handles well It is very fun and comfortable to drive. It is roomy and can handle all my packages and boxes I ship for my small home business. True it does not have a polished wood dash and all kinds of gagets. but I dont live in Los Angeles anymore I dont feel I need a car as a status symbol. Just one that is reliable and comfortable and gets the job done.

  I have truly enjoyed my VUE. It is easy to drive (I have a 5-speed), quick, easy to handle, and excellent for vision. I play hockey and have more than enough room for equipment and sticks, plus hand storage for numerous things. Been just great. All the controls are easily accessible and easy to use. The cruise control is particularly handy.

  Tons of Horse Power with great gas mileage. I get somewhere between 24 and 28 mileas a gallon IN AN SUV! Lots of accessories to choose from too!

  If you can afford the power seats, get them. This is the only option on the car I wish I had spent the extra bucks on.

  This car is fun to drive. I test drove several highly rated SUVs, but decided on the Vue because of its get-up-and-go and looks. I like the way it handles and the safety ratings impressed me. I appreciated that Saturn did the recall with haste. I appreciated Saturns no- hassle sales.

  My husband and I decided to buy a Vue because of the gas mileage it gets being an AWD vehicle. I comute about 70 miles each day, so the gas mileage was the main thing we were looking at. We also decided to go with the 2004 model since it had the new Honda engine and Im so glad we did!!! The engine is very powerful, but is also quiet. Its a very fun vehicle to drive and has also proven to be a safe one. Were so happy that we chose the Vue over the Mazda Tribute/Ford Escape that we were looking at. Saturn salesman are outstanding also!
