Overview & Reviews
A new 3.5-liter V6 replaces the previous 3.0-liter unit. Larger 17-inch wheels and tires are now standard on the V6 AWD model and optional on the front-wheel-drive version. Antilock brakes are standard on all V6 models. The interior has been upgraded to reduce noise and now incorporates metallic and leather trim. The front seats now have seatbelt pre-tensioners and dual-stage front airbags. New entertainment choices include MP3-compatible CD players, satellite radio and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system (late availability).
- Strong V6, large doors ease entry/exit, spacious cabin, comfortable ride, excellent crash test scores, good fuel economy.
- Bland interior, low-grade plastics, inconsistent build quality, noisy four-cylinder, vague steering.

We Love Our VUE! - 2004 Saturn VUE
By Gary Streifd - March 4 - 9:06 pmWords cant describe how much of a joy it is to own & drive our VUE! My wife consistently gets compliments everywhere she goes. It is so easy to maneuver - the electric power steering is a breeze. Needless to say, we have absolutely no regrets!

Saturn VUE V6 Amazing value - 2004 Saturn VUE
By poliva - February 26 - 1:10 pmWhat drew me to Saturn originally and made me come back is the amazing quality and consistency of customer service. The few times I have had any issues, I have had them resolved quickly and cordially, and this is true regardless of dealership. This, combined with the terrific styling, size, power, fuel consumption and price of this vehicle make me a head-over- heels happy owner. The only thing that is slightly below-par is the quality of interior items. The fit and finish as the car reviewers would call it. There is a lot of lightweight plastic in the interior. Im sure the amount of plastic helps lower the price, and raise the fuel economy and performance (due to lighter weight).

First New 2004 Vue Review! - 2004 Saturn VUE
By Coots - December 27 - 2:00 amThis is a great car and fun to drive. We decided on this after 2 months of serious anal (Engineer) searching. We were looking for 1-2 year old used Started with the Trailblazer but- too hard to get into and too pricey. The next was a Pathfinder but not that many to search from. We stumbled upon the Vue and after looking at a used one. We love this cars performance, value and looks and are so glad to stay in the GM (Saturn) family.

Good Car - 2004 Saturn VUE
By rocketron - December 17 - 10:00 amI think this is a good car for the money. The v6 is definitly the way to go, great power, and very quiet. Ive been getting just over 20 mpg which is important with 2$/ gal gas.The interior size is great. Much better than competitors.

2004 VUE AWD V6 - 2004 Saturn VUE
By Bucko - September 22 - 10:00 amWe do a lot of serious off-roading. We took our new VUE out to some dry washes and on some mild loose dirt roads in the mountains where we drive our Jeep Wrangler and atvs. The VUE performed well. While no serious four- wheeler, the AWD performed flawlessly and as long as you watch the ground clearance, this vehecle will take you to some places you wouldnt think possible. I wouldnt take it into running water or mud, but for hard packed sand, and dirt roads, steep or not, the VUE really surprized us.

Very Good so far - 2004 Saturn VUE
By Stan - September 3 - 6:13 pmWe traded off our 1998 Chevrolet Blazer for this new Vue. The Vue handles far better on the icy roads than the Blazer ever did. The zip that the Vue has also far exceeds that of the Blazer. Shortly after getting our view we took a long trip. The Vue was extremely comfortable and pleasant to drive the entire trip. The Vue climbed hills like they were not even hills and we went for a scenic drive into the mountains to test it too. We wish the glass panel on the rear opened like the Blazers did, as that made getting into that area much easier. That is the only drawback so far.

Another great Saturn! - 2004 Saturn VUE
By TCKG - August 15 - 2:00 amThis is our 3rd Saturn and as with each one we have yet to be disappointed in any aspect, performance, quality, reliability, etc... The VUE handles very well even in the worst winter weather. Its fun to drive!!! Its roominess and comfort make for pleasant road trips.
