Overview & Reviews
For the 2006 Nissan Titan, SE crew cabs can be ordered with a sunroof, and the LE trim now comes with two new features: standard dual-zone climate control and upgraded side mirrors that have heat, power-fold, auto-dimming and turn signal capability. Other updates for the Nissan truck include MP3-compatible audio systems and a change to allow the stability control system to be ordered with the locking rear differential.
- One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
- Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

I love it - 2006 Nissan Titan
By cwt - July 21 - 8:13 pmSuper size, especially the interior. Its a major step up from the 2003 Frontier I used to drive. I cant imagine a better built truck. Fuel economy is about what youd expect from a full size truck. The ride is great, power is fantastic. I love it.

I love this truck - 2006 Nissan Titan
By Kjf - June 12 - 12:00 amThis is the best truck ever. We have had it for a little over a year. I dont get to drive it often because I bought it for my husband. We got the no fear package on it. Looks great and even with it being raised it drives really smooth. It doesnt make tight turns at all with the no fear package. Which only matters in small parking spots and dont even think about dong u turns. We dont drive it much these days with cali gas prices.

Lemon mobile - 2006 Nissan Titan
By Robert Y. - April 14 - 10:46 amI was initially excited about purchasing a 2006 Titan; however, on my way home from the dealership the vehicle started to experience brake problems and a vibrating steering wheel. This vehicle has already been in the shop three times, all four rotors and pads have been replaced--to no avail. Nissan has been uncooperative and the dealership is incompetent. On paper, the specs look great, but Im seriously concerned about the safety and reliability of this truck. Ive also started experiencing engine hesitation and rattling from underneath the bed. This is my second and last Nissan. I performed some research on the internet and these problems appear somewhat common.

Fantastic Truck - 2006 Nissan Titan
By SuaSponte - February 3 - 4:53 amI shopped for a while and narrowed my full size crew cab truck choice down to a Ford F-150 Lariat or the Nissan Titan LE, both 4x4s. After a couple of test drives it was a no-brainer, the Nissan was far superior in all respects. The Ford seats were not comfortable, the Nissans sound system and controls were much better; additionally, the navigation system in the Nissan was awesome and much better implemented. The Ford F-150s power was an also ran in comparison. Both trucks ride and handle very well for big rides, but the Nissan felt more stable in the mountain roads where I ride. Also love the spray in bedliner from the factory and the innovative bed management rail system, etc...

06 titan le crew cab - 2006 Nissan Titan
By kevin - January 15 - 10:06 amI have owned this truck for a year now and still can not find anything I do not like about the truck with the exception of the cost of filling up. I live in the Denver area and the winter of 06-07 has been one of the most snowy winters in many years. I really like backing into my driveway which has some angle to it with the titan in 4X4 I just simply have no problem getting this beast into the garage safe and sound.

New Titan Owner - 2006 Nissan Titan
By kingkooldaddy - January 7 - 11:46 amI love the power and handling of my 2006 Titan. I have never had a stock truck with so much horsepower. It has many excellent features and room for all three of my kids to stretch out in the back seat. Pay close attention, though, I have only 1600 miles on it and the rear end is being replaced this week. I have read many posts of owners with similar problems.

Horrible Gas Mileage - 2006 Nissan Titan
By CMC - November 14 - 1:53 pmThe looks and towing on this truck combined with the comparisons to Ford and Toyota is what prompted us to buy this truck. Big Mistake! The gas mileage is 9mpg city and 11mpg hwy. In the first month the airbag light works when it wants to, the radio was completely shot, things under the hood like the fuse box are very difficult to get to and it really feels the weight when towing affecting the ride. Would not recommend for the money.

Love My Titan - 2006 Nissan Titan
By NateM - October 20 - 9:16 amI recently traded in my 1997 F-150 and purchased a 2006 Titan SE Crew Cab. It is the best truck I have ever owned. The power is superb, and it handles better than I expected. The only area I would improve would be the mpg, I am getting about 16 mpg. In my opinion this vehicle really stands above the rest!
