  • What were they thinking! - 2004 Nissan Quest

It gets plenty of looks, and the engine is strong. However it the ergonomics of this craft that werent thought through. I cant tell you how many times I have rapped my knuckles on the gear shift selector, while reaching for the other instrumentation. And a few times while in city traffic, hitting the O/D button and throwing the engine into a 600rpm jump in the attempt. The interior is also too dark, with little to no illumination while driving at night. There is also no ilumination for the multifunctions of the six switches in the steering wheel. So one must memorize there function or turn on the interior lights to use.

I have to say that I am in love with this van, styling beautiful, with great handling, comfort and amenities. Little or no lean in turns, very roomy. The instrument panel takes a little getting used to, but functions well, and once learned, is simple and easy.

  • Toyota owner impressed by Quest - 2004 Nissan Quest

As the owner of two Toyotas during the past 13 years I was pretty sure Id end up with the 04 Sienna when it was time to get a minivan. I tested the Honda, Toyota, and the Nissan minivans all on the same day under the same driving conditions. The Honda was okay on performance, but seriously lacking in style and comfort. The Toyota had nice styling and was very comfortable, but didnt have great acceleration or power. The Nissan has all of the above! I decided on the Quest and have been very pleased. (Other minivan drivers have been checking out my stylin new ride!)

  • My 5th Quest - 2004 Nissan Quest

We have always enjoyed Nissans design and technology and were especially pleased with this 2004 design. We have had a problem with both sliding doors making various annoying noises while driving our 2004 and, after reading some of these other reviews, I see we arent the only ones. The doors still make noise after being adjusted 2 timesb and this seems like one of those problems that will never be fixed permanently. This door noise problem is the first problem we have had with a Quest. I hope Im not one of the people with the "under 30 degrees" problems...I live in Chicago and I guess Ill find out next winter.

  • Great Vehicle - 2004 Nissan Quest

The Quest is a Minivan which is, when you think about it, a TRUCK. I did not buy a car, this is not a Lexus and I do not expect it to be one. Since May of 04 I have put 7600 miles on it. I drove to Disney from NJ with three children and my wife. We were all very comfortable and driving at 60miles per hr and got 30 miles to the gallon. .. Go above 75 and yes the mileage drops. This van is fast, handles great and looks cool too. Everything works. A few rattles yes. Again this is a VAN and has huge panels of sheet metal. My friend had the Honda Odyssey. He said the Honda had more rattles than Ebenezers ghosts and the Quest had way more interor room. The standard safety items and awsome engine sold me.

  • No mini-van even comes close!! - 2004 Nissan Quest

I was blown away by the new design of the Quest!! The first things I was impressed by were the new features and the roominess. But what really sold me was the way it drives!! Its stylish like a SUV but drives more like a sports car. The pick-up it has is unbelievable. The skyview is awesome!! The Bose stereo and DVD player make you feel like you are in a theater. The ride is very stable and practically no road noise. No mini-van can even come close. I used to be hooked on the Odyssey which now seems so outdated compared to the Quest!!

Ride is great. This was compared with the Sienna 2004. The van rides and corners extremely well. The centered control for the vehicle was of great interest to me. I like it. The six zcd changer is great. The rear well behind the 3rd row of seat is grest and spacious. The skyview is a great innovation.
