Worst Quest by far - 2004 Nissan Quest
By V. Chai - December 20 - 2:00 am3 days on the road, the engine malfunction light went on. The computer had to be reprogrammed and an engine part replaced. Took 4 days to diagnose and repair! Now 2 weeks later, found out the right sliding door itself unbelievably scratching the side of the body making scratch marks both inside and out! Armrest,sliding door,rear window on left side are too loose while those on the right too tight. Gas consumption is almost 40% more than the spec, and definitely more than my moms SUV. Felt totally betrayed by its looks.

The room is incredible, the seating positions on the second row is so unique, make sure the salesperson shows you how to adjust the 2nd row seats. the third row is so easy to fold flat, very quiet cabin at highway speeds, and the entertainmant system is a must have. if you like to travel fold down the third seat in all of the ones you drive and put in your vacation gear like we did. the quest was the only one with room to spare. you can look at cubic feet of cargo space but if it isnt usable it only looks good on paper. WE have owned 3 maximas 2 altimas and this is my first QUEST AND THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!

Looks great -too stylish to be practical - 2004 Nissan Quest
By croon3 - November 20 - 5:46 pmBest looking minivan out there, but rattles like a 6 yr old Chevy van. Engine is racy, but interior is not family friendly. Whoever chose light dove grey for an interior color doesnt have kids! Front end shakes and will need realignment often - factory defect, but dealer wont fix. Plastic and hard to clean interior, rattles all over place-think twice before buying! Looks better than all others, but not practical!

By sushi96720 - October 27 - 10:00 amThe Quest has more power than the american counterparts however the engine noise is rather loud as compared to Dodge Caravan. The seats are not as comfortable as I initially thought. You dont get the feeling of support from the seat.

Poor Quality - 2004 Nissan Quest
By bibe - October 21 - 10:00 amFirst six months has required two major repairs: Oil leaking from engine gasket, and bad alternator. I have 5,000 miles on this car and it has a bad alternator...The Dealer will offer a loaner that is usually a 4 door Sentra...really not a comparable car, note even close! If this POS car is going to be a lemon at least I can get a decent loaner!

By Firestorm61 - October 16 - 10:00 amThe Quest is a Minivan which is when you think about it a TRUCK. I did not buy a car, this is not a Lexus and do not expect it to be one. Since May of 04 I have put 7600 miles on it. I drove to Disney from NJ with three child and my wife. We were all very comfortable and driving at 60mi hr got 30 miles to the gallon. .. Go above 75 and yes the milage drops. This van is fast, handles great and looks cool too. Everything works. A few rattles yes. Again this is a VAN and has huge panels of sheet metal. My friend had the Honda Odyssey. He said the Honda had more rattles than Ebenezers ghosts and the Quest had way more interor room. The standard safety items and awsome engine sold me.
