This Year's Model Updates:

For 2010, the top-line Nissan Murano LE trim level is now offered with front-wheel drive -- it was previously all-wheel drive only. All Muranos get standard keyless ignition/entry, the SL gets standard roof rails and a security system, and the LE gets a standard dual-panel sunroof. Options packages have also been revised for slightly easier ordering.

Pros:
  • High-quality cabin, spacious backseat, responsive powertrain, precise steering and confident handling, smooth ride, user-friendly controls.
Cons:
  • Less cargo space than many rivals, compromised rear visibility.

  • Excellent Vehicle - 2010 Nissan Murano

I have just turned in my 2007 Murano for a new 2010 Murano. I am expecting baby #2 and have found for the space the vehicle is perfect. It runs great, has beautiful design inside and out and is a safe vehicle for my family. I have shopped around and for my budget its the best vehicle hands down.

  • Murano is marvelous - 2010 Nissan Murano

Ive owned an Acura MDX which cost about $5,000 more than my well appointed Murano and must say the Murano is more impressive. I test drove many nameplates in the Murano class with the same result: The rest failed to measure up to Muranos standards in terms of overall quality, features, looks and performance. The Murano is not a cheap car by any means but it is the standard for others to be judged by and by my experiences the others are in need of playing catchup.

  • So far - a happy buyer - 2010 Nissan Murano

1700 miles in and 5 weeks of ownership. First the bad: Terrible burning/hot smell for first thousand miles - now gone. Throttle hesitation on low level initial acceleration. (Supposedly by design)Tough to see the corners of the vehicle - getting used to this - and the back up camera is a useful feature. The good - stylish, comfortable, 23mpg, more useful storage than my former RX330. Love the sunroof, the leather.

  • Anyone own a S Model? - 2010 Nissan Murano

  • Transfer case problem - 2010 Nissan Murano
    By -

Ive had my Murano 19 mo. and have enjoyed the style, handling and fair gas mpg so far, avg. 23 mpg overall. Last mo. noticed oil seeping from the transfer case, took it to the dealer thinking oil seals needed replaced and was told the complete transfer case would be changed. Four days later it was fixed, (free rental car was given), and everything seems fine now. After reading many stories online about transfer case and cvt trans. problems involving earlier years Im a little concerned that they may not have been rectified.

  • looks good - 2010 Nissan Murano

a quick review, just picked up a 10 SL, loaded except the navi. 1st impressions. interior is nice, cargo wise, its a tad small but for its class it would be second against a Sante Fe. the only thing i hate is the road noise when the sunroof is open.

  • So so - 2010 Nissan Murano

Vehicle is cheaply made with a high price tag body exterior is too thin I closed the hood and pressed down with my elbow which resulted with a dent in the hood just hoping it will make up on the mechanical

  • Great Vehicle, But - 2010 Nissan Murano

I have owned this vehicle for about 3 months now and I really like it. My SL is fully loaded. I got every option available. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a sharp looking, great performing crossover.

  • Take a Long Ride before Buying - 2010 Nissan Murano
    By -

Dont be smitten by the beautiful good looks of this vehicle, because it is nice to look at. Instead concentrate on the seat comfort, because in the end that will be very important. Not only are the seats very hard but also, for short legged people like my wife and I (under 56"), the fact that the front of the seats (both front seats are power-seats) are not allowed to drop down far enough creates a very uncomfortable amount of pressure on the undersides of your legs. The back seats are very hard also. Like all of the newer vehicles the head rests protrude too far forward, and for those (like me) who like to lean back in their seat this creates another uncomfortable intrusion.

  • Good car BUT Wind Noise!! - 2010 Nissan Murano
    By -

Excitement of the new car purchase did not last long. Our AWD SL 360 package came with in built wind noise. The dealership insisted that the wind noise is not an issue and they branded it as normal operation. But for 35K car I expect it not be noisy on a long drive. We do a lot of long drives and listening to music on a windy day is frustrating. Driving this car is fun if you dont cross 60 mi/hr. Love the Bose Music system.
