This Year's Model Updates:

For 2010, the top-line Nissan Murano LE trim level is now offered with front-wheel drive -- it was previously all-wheel drive only. All Muranos get standard keyless ignition/entry, the SL gets standard roof rails and a security system, and the LE gets a standard dual-panel sunroof. Options packages have also been revised for slightly easier ordering.

Pros:
  • High-quality cabin, spacious backseat, responsive powertrain, precise steering and confident handling, smooth ride, user-friendly controls.
Cons:
  • Less cargo space than many rivals, compromised rear visibility.

Still very happy with the vehicle. No repairs just normal maintainence through 45,000 miles. Tires will need a refresh at 50,000. Leather looks brand new. Love the wide cargo area in the back - great for golf clubs. Fun to drive for an SUV. CVT will remain a worry until the newer models show they hold together than the 07 and earlier models.

I had my murano for 3 months now. It has all the bells and whistles. Traded my 2006 pilot for the Murano. I do not regret the decision. Very well build interior. Premium materials. Excellent quality. My only complain so far is the GPS features are limited while driving. Most of the features can not be access while driving. So-so fuel economy. Limited voice commands compared to the Pilot

Best all around vehicle for the money. Plenty of power and comfort and outstanding performance on mountain roads and snow. Perfect blend between car and truck.

  • Good car BUT Wind Noise!! - 2010 Nissan Murano
    By -

Excitement of the new car purchase did not last long. Our AWD SL 360 package came with in built wind noise. The dealership insisted that the wind noise is not an issue and they branded it as normal operation. But for 35K car I expect it not be noisy on a long drive. We do a lot of long drives and listening to music on a windy day is frustrating. Driving this car is fun if you dont cross 60 mi/hr. Love the Bose Music system.

  • Love My Murano. - 2010 Nissan Murano

Love my Murano so far. Only bought it 2 weeks ago. Love the smooth acceleration. I live in Texas hill country and the Murano glides over the hills. Love the quiet & smooth ride and the comfortable leather seats. First tank of fuel was 20.5, which is not the greatest, but I didnt expect much more. So far am using mid-grade gas, although premium is recommended. I had a 2003 Infiniti G-35 a few years ago and regular fuel worked in it OK, & basically its the same engine. I traded in two Hondas (CR-V & Civic Hybrid) for the 1 Murano. This of course, head & shoulders above either of those vehicles.

  • Great SUV - 2010 Nissan Murano

This is my second Murano & our 39th new vehicle. liked the newer body style so bought. Its a fun to drive nice looking sporty crossover & very quite. Not as luxurious a ride as the wifes Lexus RX350H but just as quite. I like to feel the road not float over it so the Murano is great in that respect. Great handling & gas mileage true to its rating. Had no troubles with my first Murano after 2 years & 18K miles so expect none with this one though Ill probably will be looking for new in a couple years as have throughout my spoiler life.

I checked several crossover, name few audiq5, Lexus rx 350, Volvo and came back and got murano leawd. I had to make a decision with audiq5 and murano. Looking with similar options, it was 10 grand difference. I followed edumnds advice, as well as tmv. It was no brainer that murano had better finance option plus better interior except that Audi q5 had better panoramic roof. Any how I loved this vehicle and every single option makes it one of the best car buying experience.

Purchased the LE with Nav after comparing it to the Venza V6, Subaru V6 Limited, Volvo XC60, Cadillac SRX, and Hyundai Vera Cruz. I was impressed by the handling characteristics, ride, comfortable and quiet interior and fit and finish. Excellent front seat support and capacious rear seat. It handles well on the freeway as well as in town and has an eye catching style.

This is my first SUV and I am really impressed with the Vehicle. It has all the bells and whistle I could ever dream of in a car. I love the heated seats, the smooth ride and most of all the SAT radio with those awesome Bose speakers. I dont have anything to complain about, but everything to be thankful for. Glad I made this as my first choice for an SUV.

  • Do not buy one with a sunroof - 2010 Nissan Murano
    By -

I bought my Murano two months ago. It drives well. The salesman took me around the block at around 40-45 miles per hour. After the purchase i drove it home using the highway. The wind noise is absolutely intolerable. i took it back to my dealership and the service rep says its common in all Muranos with a sunroof and Nissan does not consider it a defect. Well please excuse me for so being annoyed for paying over 30K for a car and expecting excellence. The Nissan USA rep basically overwhelmed me with her kindness and all but told me to fly a Kite. Shame on you Nissan for selling me a substandard car. I will never buy Nissan and will pass the same advice to my close friends and relatives.
