Quietest Ride for under $50,000 - 2009 Nissan Murano
By Dave In Portland - November 26 - 9:23 pmLeased RX 330 + RX 350 for the last six years. Spent last two months testing all brands to try and find something better for less $$. Low road noise important - I have hearing damage. Tried everything to $50,000,and the Murano and the TIGUAN were the two most quiet cars using decibel meter on common stretch of highway at 60 MPH measured at drivers left ear and middle of car interior. Mercedes and BMW were both louder by 2-3 db and worse gas mileage. Murano quiet as the Lexus identical db stats even with LE 20 inch wheels. Rented SL for 2 weeks louder than LE by 1 db! MPG 1 less than Lexus. Venza 4 db louder! 2010 RX530 NOT quieter than previous year. Murano lease 2/3 $ Lexus - loaded to max!

Great car comfortable - 2009 Nissan Murano
By pianotunertech - November 21 - 6:25 pmWe had a 05 Murano, it was definitely roomier than our 08. The drivetrain is a little quirky. But it gets up and moves very very quickly. The sound system in this car is the best Ive ever heard for stock. It is very balanced and very powerful. The heated seats are wonderful, the ride seems to only improve with time. The seats are very comfortable for long trips with less fatigue than other cars--I like the upright sitting position. This car is very luxurious, leather, the air conditioning seems to work much better than our 05. Maybe its the silver exterior vs. navy blue both with the black interior, but that 05 was beastly hot and hard to cool down in summer.

Dealer installed leather heated seats and sunroof.I am getting 23 MPG with mostly highway driving. 3.5 L engine is very fast and car gives a smooth ride on highway and over bumps. Black Interior looks really sharp and is nicely laid out, really like the orange lighted gauges.Stereo system provides clear sound and cranks nicely. I love driving this car and it is a head-turner!

Overall good, but... - 2009 Nissan Murano
By Dennis Texas - September 10 - 1:26 amGreat overall vehicle. The interior styling and comfort are excellent. The stylish exterior is very nice. Sound system and controls are top of the line (except the driver will never hear the 2 subwoofers in the rear). I love the auto headlights and wipers! The 160 MPH speedometer is counter productive - the distance from 50 to 60 mph is like a centimeter, making it hard to pin point 55 mph. The low end acceleration is WEAK. Like many car magazine tests, 0-60 cannot be reached in 8 seconds (more like 9.5 to 10). Mileage is 16 MPG for me driving mostly city. Great vehicle if you can accept the poor acceleration and mileage.

Excelent Choice!!!!! - 2009 Nissan Murano
By NRF - August 6 - 8:00 pmI had a 2004 Nissan Murano. It was an excelent car but I decided to change it for a new one. I looked at others SUV from different brands like Lexus RX350, Volvo XC60, Mazda CX-7, and Audi Q5. I tested all of them(excellent SUVs)and The Murano SL 360 was the winner. For $30,000 (you can get it at this price) you get a lot of excellent features paying less money than the others brands I mentioned before (except CX-7 which is inferior in quality) The Murano has an excellent interior design with blue tooth, leather, rear view camera, 6 cds charge, Ipod conexion, moonroof, etc. The exterior design is stunning. Acceleration and stability are amazing. Try it you will enjoy it. I think Nissan is Quality

New 09 Traded 05 Caddy SRX - 2009 Nissan Murano
By TJW - July 19 - 4:56 pmJust purchased the LE and am very happy. Interior space is great and love the exterior appearance. Traded my SRX after too many problems with engine, oversized moonroof, etc. Too early to tell on gas mileage but after looking all the domestic and import SUVs, this one won hands down. The only nit and it is barely that, is that it leans a bit in corners.

Collision result - 2009 Nissan Murano
By rcdc - July 9 - 4:33 pmWe hit a deer at 70MPH with our 2009 Murano. Both airbags went off. If I would not have had my foot on the dash (bad habit of mine) we would not have had any injuries. However the airbag broke my ankle in two places, leg and toe. We feel safe in our Murano - will never put feet on dash again. We love all our features, nav system, heated seats, Bose radio, etc but when it comes right down to the basics - buy this car for the safety rating. We are glad we did.

Luxury SUV at non-luxury price - 2009 Nissan Murano
By Nikki - June 14 - 10:36 amI made a great choice by purchasing this car at a great price. Handling is so smooth. The seats are absolutely comfortable. Beautiful interior! I chose this car over the Acura RDX and Lexus RX300.
