Another Nissan, Another Winner. - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Zack B - November 25 - 4:13 pmI traded in my 04 Spec V on this car. One of the most difficult, yet one of the best things Ive ever done. The Spec V was a wonderful bang for the buck, and I have graduated to the next level of bang for the buck with my new Altima Coupe SE with Premium Package. Hands down, this is the best daily driver sport coupe on the market. Plenty of performance without sacrificing comfort. The Bose stereo is fantastic. Homelink and Bluetooth systems are absolutely wonderful. Plenty of punch with the VQ35DE motor paired with the Xtronic CVT. Takes a bit of getting used to coming from a 6 speed manual. The speed can sneak up on you very easily as the car accelerates effortlessly at any RPM.

By Uncle Al in Md - November 14 - 7:10 amI waited until I made a good deal on this car before I test drove it. I was not in any way disappointed. Ive been carefully breaking it in over the past few weeks and I like it more each time I drive it. My dogs can get in the back seat easy and seem to enjoy the view when they go for a cruise. All instruments are laid out to use easily. Im going easy the 1st few thousand miles so Im doing things in stages. I like the keyless starting and all the displays. The a/c works fine and the std radio is good. I didnt get the 3 high $$ options but I did get the cheap 3 and the new homelink/compass option mirror - a great deal! Only 3 other cars in 38 years have had me so excited.

Hands down best bang for dollar in class - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Kathrine - October 25 - 2:00 amMy Altima came home with 65k (highway) miles, Although it was one year old. I must attribute the condition of the car to Nissans absolute dedication to build quality. We just turned 87k on the odometer today. It still feels like a New car (mostly). Bottom line-Take care of this car and It Will take care of you. Punch the Audio power button and your paying for a new stereo. I truly love my Altima. hated the song. Absolutely Impressed with it. yeah the battery had a dead cell. $80 later I have 600CCR :) Forget the Sedan stigma. My 2006 Accord coupe V-6 was less of a car all around. I prefer it over our 2006 Toyota Avalon. I sit in the garage for hours just to be in my car!

Very impressed! - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Bogeyboy - October 5 - 4:26 pmHaving been a Honda owner for many years, I was not impressed with the new Accord and started looking at the Altima. I was a little hesitant at first, due to the fact that reliability is my #1 concern, but after almost 3 years with the Altima, I am sold! I have not had any problems with this car and over 52,000 miles so far. Amazing acceleration from a 4 cylinder and the CVT is top notch! There is a little hesitation around 25 mph, but nothing that I would consider a deal breaker. Car is VERY quiet and drives like a dream. The factory tires that come with the car were very cheap so I replaced them ASAP and now the car handles like a dream in all weather condition. Great MPG also!

Watch Out - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Aron - September 14 - 3:33 amLove this car. The acceleration is very impressive and the ride on the highways make the trip zoom by. Bluetooth option is much better than I have had before. Stereo system can really crank tunes. The key is super convenient. Very Happy with purchase and would recommend to all. Price, quality and fun.

By kc1987 - September 3 - 11:33 pmI love the new 08 Altima, I shopped around between an accord, camry, malibu, and even a 3 series and still loved the altima more! This car wont let you down. When you need the power to pass in a short passing zone, all it takes is a little bit more pressure on the gas pedal and your gone. The CVT is way more favorable than I expected, although the engine is a bit more noticeable. Comfy cloth seats with microfiber trim, but everything does stick to the microfiber.

By Ryan - August 17 - 1:33 pmYou wont go wrong with this car! I drove all other major competitors and this one beat them (in price and creature comforts) hands down. I was skeptical of the CVT at first, but I absolutely love it now. I am a big guy and fit in this car very comfortably. Go Nissan!!

Pleased at 16k - 2008 Nissan Altima
By slingshot - August 16 - 9:36 amBought car 3/08 and now have over 16k. So far no trips back to the dealer. Getting 24mpg in suburban driving and averaging 30-31 highway at 70-75mph. Very happy with gas mileage with all this power. Continental tires have provided smooth quiet ride to go with extremely quiet engine, which compliments a great sound system. Have found seats very comfortable for long drives. Gauges and buttons easy to use/follow. Trunk plenty spacious and nice having fold down split rear seats. Worth having the leather seats (heated - works great) and the other additional options like heated mirrors. Worth it. Debated between the 4 & 6. Worth it to pay for the 6 for the quiet and powerful engine

By JFM - August 3 - 3:40 amWhat can I say about this car ? If the styling doesnt get you, the performance will! I purchased mine fully loaded w/o the GPS and havent stopped smiling since. The interior is slightly cramped but other than that, its awesome (I love the heated seats) I have no reservations recommending this car to anyone !
