By ED - November 30 - 9:53 pmI have about 2000 miles on this car and it has never given me a single problem, the Nissan seal of approval really means something, it means youre getting a quality car! Love the CVT, love downshifting! People think I have a sound system when its just the stock system that came with the car! A/C is really great! I get about 32 MPG highway and about 26 MPG city! Love the keyless entry, has a huge trunk I can fit anything in it. Love the new design and the new taillights.

Unbelievable - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Robert Walker - November 26 - 11:40 pmI have had this car going on two weeks. It is one beautiful car. Handles crisply, esp around corners. For a 4 banger, it really goes! I test drove and researched many cars for about 6 months. For the bread, this is by far, the best deal. I feel good in this car, and enjoy many of the stares it gets. I have the slate color, with the convenience pkg. The seats are firm, but comfortable, even at 63, 230 pounds. My son is 65, he loves my car, and hijacks it from me every time he comes home, lol. I would highly recommend this car to anyone. Makes me feel young again.

By Keith - November 22 - 11:26 amTraded in my 2003 Murano for the 08 Altima coupe with Premium and Technology packages. Drove Honda Accord, Civic, Camry; none compared. Much quieter, sportier, better features. Drives like a dream around corners and on fwy. Got MSRP out the door inc. Phantom recovery system. Added 6-yr. full extended warranty for $850. Love the Red exterior/tan interior combo. First tank of gas averaged 28 city/hwy. Sweet steering and CVT make it a dream to drive. Love the convenience of Intelligent Key, Bluetooth, and navigations system.

A Classy Sedan - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Sarah - October 18 - 10:50 amI have over 4000 miles on mine and still love to drive it. The Bose stereo in it is awesome. I got mine w/ the premium pkg. I looked at the Accord but after lots of research and test drives I went with the Altima and Im happy I did. I wanted something sporty w/ 4 doors and I feel I got that with the Altima. If you are in the market for a midsize sedan I would suggest to take the Altima for a test drive. You wont be sorry.

People stop and stare at the car, my friends all love it, the quality is awesome. Nissan outdid themselves with this one. I looked at a lot of cars and the first time I saw it, I was hooked. Drive it and you will buy it.

By SmallGiant - September 11 - 3:43 pmOverall so far My Altima has been a great car and a great value, 2 years old and i still get compliments on it daily, the car is great in the city and smooth on the highway. but by no means is it a performance car its not too much that i dont like about it, but the 2.5 engine is loud during acceleration, and at high speeds(80+) the car feel like it is easily swayed by the wind. and in the summer the leather is unusually hot, it seems to hold the heat in even after the a/c has been blasting for a while, and some of the interior fittings feel cheap, but none of these are nothing you cant live with, and it would not change my mind from having to make the purchase all over again.

Smooth and Powerful with CVT - 2008 Nissan Altima
By nissanfamily - July 9 - 8:43 amThis car is excellent and is a very comfortable family sedan overall. It handles extremely well in rain storms and any inclement weather. Heavy water on the roadway does not affect its traction nor does it pull on the steering wheel, as it did on my 2005 Altima. The 6 cylinder is definitely not necessary as the 4 cyl acceleration is smooth and powerful. Though it is not as sporty to drive as the 2005, the turning circle radius is much better.

I did a lot of reading and test driving of different sedans, and in the end, the Altima beat the Camry and Accord handily. Not only was the price far below the Camry and Accord, but the features list was higher than either of those choices as well! I got a 2.5 SL w/ Connection Package and the Bluetooth phone system rocks! The ikey and push-button start are so cool! The leather seats are very comfortable, and the controls are very intuitive and easy to use. The car is a blast to drive on curvy roads. Its also very peppy for a 4cyl. If youre looking for a new midsize sedan, check this out!

It was the most perfect car Ive had - 2008 Nissan Altima
By clock84 - June 24 - 5:10 pmI bought my 08 Nissan Altima Coupe in 2008 brand new. It was my first brand new car and Im still in love with it even though I dont own it any longer. I put over 50k miles on it in 3 years. I took it on long drives from Omaha to Chicago and Omaha to Indianapolis. The seats were so comfy that my butt was never abused. The acceleration was always great even though it was a 4 cyl. I had no problems getting around in the winter during some bad snowfalls. The only reason I traded it in was because I needed to get a bigger car for a family. When I think of my silver 2008 Altima I get a little tear in my eye as I wistfully remember how great of a car it was.
