Overview & Reviews
The 2006 Nissan 350Z sports car receives a host of minor changes. Mechanical updates include an increase in horsepower, to 300, for all manual-transmission-equipped cars, larger brake rotors for cars without the Brembo brake package and a new vehicle speed-sensitive steering rack. For the exterior, the Z sports a revised front bumper and new headlight and taillight designs. Eighteen-inch wheels and HID headlights are now standard on all models. Changes inside include new cloth seat material, revised climate controls and a new navigation system. Finally, Nissan has made some adjustments to the Z's trim levels. A Grand Touring trim level is now available for the coupe body style; it features the Touring trim's equipment plus Brembo brakes, spoilers and stability control. Additionally, the Track and Grand Touring trims get new RAYS super lightweight forged-alloy wheels that measure 18 inches in front and 19 out back.
- Strong and willing V6 engine, precision handling, powerful brakes, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
- Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

Best bang 4 the buck - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By J. Rivera - November 20 - 10:26 pmImpressive. I have the one with the Interlagos Fire paint. Looks are great as well as performance. I test dove the G35, the S2000 and RX-8, but for the money this is a best buy. Who cares about limited room? Very easy to customize too. No need to look in another direction if looking for a sports car. Two big thumbs up!!! P.S. Nice exhaust note!! Bravo.....

Good Car Tip - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Shawn Wolfe - November 19 - 5:13 amI like the car. A good tip is buy a Clear Film Bra for the front. The paint is not thick at all and chips easy. So invest in a clear bra. They are about 500 dollars but it is definitely worth it.

350Z Track - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Pigpen - July 27 - 10:10 pmFun to drive, very reliable only problem was drivers side window motor. Added cold air intake and high flow exhaust, gets 24.5 MPG. Track model handles well w/ 18/19 inch wheels, bimbro brakes and stiff suspension.

1 FUN Z!! - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Suechat - July 5 - 2:00 amI bought this car just as my son was turning 16; my present to myself after having driven the same car for 10 years that I gave to my son. I never thought that driving a vehicle could be so much fun. I ABSOLUTELY love my car. It has been babied for the 2+ years I have owned it.

Love this fast, crazy car!!! - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Speedracer! - May 31 - 1:16 pmI ordered this car last August and it arrived in late December. It is fun, fun, fun! Love the updates on it from the older model. Seats are a bit tight, but Im a 56" woman, so okay. Theyre not the most comfortable in the world. We own an Infiniti FX35 (which I love), but I love the Z just as much. Be careful though, I just got a ticket. I was doing 93/94 mph on the freeway...not good! Its easy to go fast in this car w/o realizing it. I also love how my hair doesnt blow everywhere...I also love the Audi TT and almost bought one, but my hair was in knots after 5 mins! With the Z, its no problem and everyone looks cool in this car.

...and my 76" surfboard fits inside! - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Mike - May 25 - 10:06 pmStarting with the Silverstone exterior paint and the burnt orange leather seats, this car is gorgeous! The feeling of power not only comes from all those horses under the hood, but the weight and driving feel of the car- its quite a secure feeling! I just got back from the beach, and the drive to, was just as much fun as the waveriding.

After 4 years, still turns my own head - 2006 Nissan 350Z
By Christine - March 16 - 2:30 amAfter having driven my Toyota Celica 293,000 miles without a single problem short of a flat tire one time, I decided to get another awesome looking car in a convertible. This car rocks! i have had it for 4 years now with no downtime, incredible handling, solid feel and performance on all kinds of surfaces, turns, and weather. My only complaint is the interior paint on the door peels off easily. Dashboard and controls are friendly, well-placed for real driving. Cockpit is made for comfort and incredibly body-friendly even on long drives. I drove this car along Rt 66 starting from Phila, through Chicago and to Southern california and it was a comfort rocket all the way & great fuel economy
