This Year's Model Updates:

The 2006 Nissan 350Z sports car receives a host of minor changes. Mechanical updates include an increase in horsepower, to 300, for all manual-transmission-equipped cars, larger brake rotors for cars without the Brembo brake package and a new vehicle speed-sensitive steering rack. For the exterior, the Z sports a revised front bumper and new headlight and taillight designs. Eighteen-inch wheels and HID headlights are now standard on all models. Changes inside include new cloth seat material, revised climate controls and a new navigation system. Finally, Nissan has made some adjustments to the Z's trim levels. A Grand Touring trim level is now available for the coupe body style; it features the Touring trim's equipment plus Brembo brakes, spoilers and stability control. Additionally, the Track and Grand Touring trims get new RAYS super lightweight forged-alloy wheels that measure 18 inches in front and 19 out back.

Pros:
  • Strong and willing V6 engine, precision handling, powerful brakes, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
Cons:
  • Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  • Great car - 2006 Nissan 350Z

Went by dealership, saw this car and loved it. I bought a six speed and it has put the fun back in driving. This little car handles like a dream. Not the best on gas mileage though. Has alot of leg room which suprised me. I just try out a new corvette and not near the leg room in it as the 350Z.

The 350Z in all versions is a performance bargain. It is a quick, well-balanced, superbly built sports car. Styling is head turning. Acceleration is good. Overall MPG runs 21.5 city, with about 40% aggressive driving, 25-27 hwy if you drive with cruise and accelerate gently. Build quality is outstanding: no squeaks, rattles, misaligned panels, or mx issues. Maintenance costs have been zero for me in the last year. Stock exhaust note is exhilarating. Stereo is good. Amenities, storage areas, utility of hatchback are excellent.

The Nissan 350z. What a beautiful car. I used to own a 1996 300zx. That was a pure driving pleasure. The 2006 350z takes after that exact vehicle. This car handles great, is fun to drive and gets pretty decent gas mileage with my heavy foot. I am always pulling between 370-390 each tank of gas, and thats city driving! Vehicle has power to spare in every gear, virtually no lag what so ever! You hit the gas and youre gone. Awesome vehicle, good job Nissan. All this coming from a die hard Toyota man. About time they bring that Supra back huh? Anyways for 30k, you cant beat this vehicle..

While shopping for a reliable, fun, comfortable, I found the Nissan 350Z the best built car. The power is unbelievable; the easiness of convertible access and its look when down is excellent. I feel very comfortable and not feeling like tuna in a can. I truly feel it will hold its value and will be well taken care of. Its the car Ive worked hard for and feel I definitely got my monies worth.

After totalling my 2004 Touring Roadster, I had to have another. Bought a 2006 Grand Touring Roadster. Its just as wonderful and fun to drive as the 04 was.

Pretty happy with my Z. I am the happy 2nd owner of a 2006 GT convertible with ~15K miles. Shes like new. I like almost everything about it - good looks, fun to drive, quality fit and finish. The mileage isnt the best, but what do you expect? Its great as a 2nd car, but not sure Id want it as a primary driver. I really enjoy the 3 Fs - fast, fun...oh, and fast. The top is easy up-and-down. In the 06, missing USB and i-connectivity is rough, but I had Sirrius/XM installed and it sounds great on the Bose system. Cant wait for my next Z!

Bought the car in May and have a hard time getting out of it! 15 seconds to go topless and catch major eyes! Makes the ride to work 10x more fun!

This 2006 is my third 350Z.....I have always purchased new cars and the 350z is by far the best ever. It looks great, it is very quick and very maneuverable, gas mileage is reasonable 25 highway 17 city. The car is not good in snow, rear wheel drive, light weight and very powerful engine team up against good traction when roads are very slippery but you can learn to live with this one drawback and take a bus or cab when roads are treacherous. All around this is the best car I have ever owned. It beats any Other Brand car I ever owned. It is a two seater so dont expect too much living room but the rear space is adequate for most. I love this car absolutely no question about it.
