Overview & Reviews
Although the Endeavor is an all-new vehicle for 2004, an upgraded 2004.5 model was released midway through the year to address some initial shortcomings. The list of upgrades includes more horsepower (225), daytime running lamps, advanced dual-stage front airbags and a tire-pressure monitor as standard. An improved ABS system (with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and traction control) is now available on LS 2WD models and standard on XLS 2WD and Limited 2WD. A full-size spare with alloy wheel and a towing prep package is now standard on LS AWD (optional LS 2WD) and XLS. Standard side-impact airbags for front-seat passengers have been added to the Endeavor XLS. Rounding out the 2004.5 changes are a handful of new options, including a rear-seat DVD entertainment system for XLS and Limited, and traction and stability control for the Limited AWD.
- Carlike ride, roomy seating front and rear, torquey V6 power plant, solid build and materials quality, good crash test scores.
- Less cargo capacity than the class leaders, polarizing interior design.

Love my Endeavor - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By luvmyendeavor - January 15 - 2:00 amI absolutely love my endavor! Ive had some problems with my dealership and the quality of service. My stereo went out after about two months and I had to get a new one. I wish the antenna was retractable. But otherwise, the ride is smooth, the interior is wonderful and I get so many looks from other drivers. My Endeavor is great on the highway, I can feel how powerful it is. And everyone thats been in it wants to buy one now. I almost got a 4-runner, Im so glad I didnt!

Great Suprise - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By Rick - January 11 - 12:00 pmBought used with 36K and now have 80K. Had no knowledge about it when we bought it, but enjoyed the test drive immensely. Have had absolutely no issues. Regular maintenance, including brakes at 75K and synthetic oil and she runs great. We have found that valves seem to click unless we use higher grade fuel. Lots of room, great OEM stereo, strong V6 have made our Endeavor an awesome SUV. Now looking for one for our daughter to take to college. This has been a very reliable vehicle

Endeavor - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By Scool - December 9 - 2:00 amThis SUV drives like a sedan. The ride is very smooth and quiet. This car has big cargo space along with fold down rear seat that goes lower to level with cargo.

cant beat the value of this machine - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By smartbuyer - October 21 - 2:00 amBest bang for the buck of any mid-size SUV I test drove, 0% financing to boot. Great leather heated seats, super 300+watt stereo, a head turner when compared to the competition. Be careful in fast acceleration, lotsa torque steer. Who said Mitsubishi isnt a Tier One automaker?

Superior Endeavor - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By kmak - September 27 - 10:00 amI traded in my Montero Sport for an Endeavor, and I love it. Mitsubishi actually took a lot of the popular features from several different SUVs on the market and combined them into one great vehicle. Would definitely suggest this to those who drive long distances. This comfortable ride has a great sound system, 4 power outlets, and plently of front cabin cargo area. A wonderful value for the money.

Love our Limited - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By lemonjeep2 - September 21 - 10:00 amThis is a dynamite vehicle. Very comfortable and enjoyable to drive. We test drove lots and lots of cars and did some research, but the choice was easy. This vehicle just felt much better from the drivers seat. It handles well, has great AC and stereo, and the seating is comfortable. The rear cargo area has a fair amount of room. I was concerned about the dash after looking at photos, but is is really attractive when you see it in person. I previously had a Mitsubishi truck that I beat up for over 200,000 miles and it never broke down, so I hope this one runs as well. So far our mileage has been good, around 20 mpg for mixed use.

My first SUV! - 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor
By gzane711 - September 9 - 2:00 amAfter week one, and only have about 300 miles on it, the skies opened up and we got 6" of snow! I was like a kid in a candy store! I found the Endeavors handling in the snow outstanding. Great visibilty. My son likes the DVD.
