This Year's Model Updates:

Coming off a complete redesign just last year, the 2010 Mazda 6 sees little in the way of change. A new optional audio and Bluetooth display debuts, as does a new Touring Plus trim level. Features have also been shuffled among trim levels to lower the vehicle's base price.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, big trunk, muscular performance from V6, smooth automatic transmissions, relatively sporty handling.
Cons:
  • Mediocre fuel economy, some cheap interior materials.

  • Best in Class - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

60+ miles each work day. All highway. Handling is very responsive. Sports car like feel. Hugs the road. Comfortable drivers seat. Probably wont ever sit in the passenger seat! I researched the Camry, Accord and Altima. Drove them all. Bought this. Only downside is the road noise. Its not loud per se. But, test drive the car on the highway if it is something that bothers you. Cranking Sirius on the Bose stereo is always a good way to drown out road noise. Fuel economy is not as bad as it looks in the 6cyl. I have 1700+ and I am averaging 22 MPG. I noticed that when I set the cruise, I appear to be getting 25+. Mazda has a winner with this model.

Traded in my 2008 Mazda 3 for the New Mazda 6. Great sedan. Powerful V6 Engine. Lots of features. Love the Sat Radio, Bluetooth, keyless entry and push button start. This car has it all. Huge trunk and lots of room for rear seat passengers.

  • NOT Disappointed - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

Chose Mazda6 over Honda Accord for its 5-star crash test rating, and for its sporty handling quality. It is a big car, bigger than our Subaru Forester SUV, so still trying to get used to that. Dont know anything about its reliability, but we have been extremely happy with the purchase so far.

  • Happy First Time Mazda Owner - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

Bought the car about two weeks ago. Its the first car weve bought since we were SUV owners. So far the Fuel Economy is great compared to an SUV. I like how it looks inside and out. It has a lot of interior space compared to other sedans we looked at. You also seem to get a lot more features at a lower price. Love the blue tooth feature. So far I am a happy first time Mazda owner and would recommend this car.

  • Great Car - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

The Mazda 6 2.5L has 170 horse power and 167 pound feet of torque. The 4 cylinder is pretty nimble. It accelerates the car from 0-60 in 7.9 seconds at it fastest. I think that is pretty good for a 4 cylinder engine that is not turbo charged. I am averaging 24 city and 33 highway in gas mileage. I bought the Touring Plus trim brand new for $22,514. The cars MSRP brand new was $24,625. The dealership gave me a good deal. The car is comfortable and fun to drive. My husband has the 3.7L Mazda 6 and that one is even more fun to drive. The car seems to be designed well. I have owned the car for 4 months now and I have not had any issues. I feel the car will be reliable.

  • Zoom, zoom? - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

The car looks and rides great. Visibility is excellent and has all the bells and whistles; blue tooth, blind spot monitoring, Bose, heated leather, etc. What the car needs is a little more zoom in its zoom (another 20 or 30 HP would be real nice Overall - a good choice!

  • Great Car! - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

This is the third Mazda and the second 6 that we have bought. This one is a great car! We love everything about it. Handling is top notch. Looks terrific. Excellent build quality. Nice dealership to do business with. Traded in a 2008 Mazda3 2.3 for this one. No comparison between the two cars. Highly recommended.

  • Love my Mazda 6 ITP - 2010 Mazda Mazda6
    By -

After 5000 miles, I have no complains about my Mazda 6, ITP - V4, ebony black and black interior. So far, I can say that the Mazda 6 is a great car for its value. Its slick and sporty design stands out from the rest of of the pack. Handles really well and actually zooms as needed. It is not a racing car but a zooming sporty everyday sedan. I added HID lights (inside/outside), tinted windows, silver bumper protector, mud flaps, silver door handles and pillar posts. I get nothing but compliments about it.

  • Fun Car - 2010 Mazda Mazda6

I have owned the car for 6 months and no problems. Fun to drive, enough power for around town and great mileage. Plenty of room for two full size golf bags in trunk probably three.

  • Good car but - 2010 Mazda Mazda6
    By -

No doubt about it, it looks great, handles very well, and has the biggest trunk out of all the cars it competes against, but it probably has the hardest seats and the weakest air conditioner which should be a concern to anyone living in a southern climate. Other than that I dont regret buying it for a minute.
