Very solid - 2011 Kia Sorento
By Kaye - December 22 - 7:03 pmThe ride is smooth. Some might complain about going over bumps, but in reality, who drives on bumps all the time? When on the freeway and going 75 mph, it is very smooth. On streets and avenues, the ride is comfortable. I have driven in BMWs X5, Lexus and the ride difference is minuscule. Im not interested in a bunch of bells and whistles, I want a good radio, blue tooth and iPod hookup. And it has all of that. This SUV gets me from point (a) to point (b). In reality, that is all you want.

Very unhappy kia owner - 2011 Kia Sorento
By william - December 22 - 5:46 amI am very dissatisfied with this vehicle. To pay this much for a vehicle and have it develop so many rattles so soon is very disappointing, also the strut noise is constant, something I would expect in a $12,000 car, not a $30,000. very unhappy customer, would not buy again

Unique - 2011 Kia Sorento
By jojo - December 17 - 2:00 amWe have driven our LX v6 Sorento for 2 months now. It averages about 19 mpg in regular driving and 21 on the highway, lower than expected. The car is well thought out and has great style. The front suspension is louder than my old drum set when going over even the smallest bumps, this needs to be recalled for this reason.Kia knows it is a problem since the new SX uses a different suspension system. Kia think of us and offer a fix to the LX suspension. Other than that a nice SUV.

Kia Sorento - 2011 Kia Sorento
By Kansas - November 7 - 12:50 amWe enjoy our new Sorento. The V6 must be on steroids. Rides well. It is stiff, but I wanted stiff. Corners great. Handles bumps and holes just as good as the Mazda CX7 and Chevy Equinox. Quiet ride. Bluetooth works great with both our phones. Opted for EX for driver seat adjustments and it is a comfortable seat. The third row will be nice with grandkids. Doors sound solid when closing. Smartkey is a great feature. Headlights light up the road and countryside. Radio works well; auto climate works quickly. Braking is consistent and stable. Opted for black clothe w/ leather like trim. Looks smart, feels good. Have not been able to test out AWD ability. Glad we purchased, would purchase again.

Problem with the Onboard Navigation System - 2011 Kia Sorento
By bandrews6264 - November 2 - 6:15 amHere is my story: I have leased a 2011 KIA Sorrento (February 2011) from Tempe KIA [violative content deleted] and have found a problem with the internal navigation system. I have come to find out that the system is only programmed for using freeways and not recognizing quicker routes. Case in point: I went Las Vegas about two weeks ago and entered my destination into the onboard nav system. The nav system tried to take me to Flagstaff to connect with I-40 (142 plus, unnecessary miles) instead of directing me to US93, a much faster route. On the way home the onboard nav system again tried to route me through Flagstaff instead of US93 through Wickenburg. KIA refuses to anything about this. Buyer beware

Fuel - 2011 Kia Sorento
By nevik - October 17 - 11:23 pmThe only thing I am disappointed in is the fuel economy. It doesnt even get close to what the sticker says. I can see a couple miles less but when you get 8 to 10 miles off, thats a big difference. I based my decision to purchase this SUV because of the fuel economy it was supposed to have.

The poor mans lexus - 2011 Kia Sorento
By John - September 28 - 6:00 amJust took delivery of the Sorento and I can say Im well pleased. The warranty, fit and finish, paint are excellent. Its alot of car for the money, esp. in todays dollars and what new cars are selling for..I opted for the 6 cyl. I didnt feel there was that much diff. in mileage in the long run. I will update as the year...summer etc. continues. However, so far Im Impressed.

Best Car I have ever owned - 2011 Kia Sorento
By andrewm1 - September 16 - 3:28 pmI have owned and driven many cars in my 26 years of driving and can honestly say that the Kia Sorento is the best car I have ever driven.I am a big 6 foot 3 300lb+ guy and the front seat driving position has the most room I have ever had in any car/suv.I am very comfortable and never feel cramped or strained in the seat. The 4Cyl 6 speed automatic is fine for me.The car is incredibly quiet on the road and often sounds like it is not on.The suspension is very smooth and there is no body lean whatsoever with this car.The turning radius is incredible. The interior design is high end and the exterior is more masculine than other "girly cars".I love this CUV and am glad I bought it.

front edn problem with 2011 Kia - 2011 Kia Sorento
By Williams - August 19 - 4:00 amWe bought a 2011 new Kia Sorento 1 month ago. From the start the the steering pulled to the right. I took the car back to the dealer twice. the problem was not fixed. Yesterday ,I got a call for the service manager that there is a problem with the v6 2011 Sorento and it is with the spring coils in the front end. Apparently this has been a problem because the spring coil parts are on back order. I guess a lot of poeple are having this issue with their Sorento. I am very disappointed with Kia. This is a brand new car and already Im having issues with the car. The car has not been fun to drive because of this uncomfortable hold I have to use while steering the car.
