Overview & Reviews
Minor upgrades are in store for the Sedona in its second year on the market. On the outside, buyers will find new taillights, and in the cabin, you'll note a new audio faceplate and a remote fuel-door release. The LX model gets a CD player, while the EX now comes with two keyless remotes, as well as additional leather on the armrests and lower portions of the seats. A trailer hitch is now available for all Sedonas.
- Excellent value, lots of cupholders and storage bins, solid build quality, good crash test scores, lengthy warranty coverage.
- Hefty curb weight, below-average gas mileage, missing a few key minivan features, potentially expensive to repair in minor collisions.

Value to the Nth degree - 2003 Kia Sedona
By Kausmos - July 16 - 10:00 amVehicle is comfortable, classy and a pleasure to drive. With the unique 5 speed auto, you have 4th, 3rd, and 1st as lock in gears...great for adjusting to any driving condition. Front wheel drive makes the vehicle almost snakeline on curves. Most passengers feel like theyre in 1st class airliner. The 55 to 90 accelation confirms that feeling! Thanks KIA!

how can you compare - 2003 Kia Sedona
By Bob Hoskins - June 14 - 2:00 amhow can you compare other mini vans to the sedona? others are thousands not 1,2,3,4,5, but upwards of $6000 or more.and the warranty is unmatched, that 7/100,000 has deductables and other restrictions you need to read the fin print. sedona you get what you see. exelent vehichle.

Glad I did it - 2003 Kia Sedona
By Kia in Vermont - April 16 - 10:00 amWe just drove our Sedona home from the dealer and glad we made the choice to buy one. I traded in a 98 Honda Odyssey with 100,000 miles. Dont get me wrong, Hondas are great, and yes I will miss the magic rear seats(alot) but we researched for a full month, drove all the minivans out there, and for all that we got, plus some, the value was there. We added an entertainment system for the kids which is great! and still thousands less than the new odyssey. This car is chock full of features that you cant find elsewhere for the price. Hope that Kia stands behind all they say, because if they do, this will probably be one of our best car investments yet.

Much better than average - 2003 Kia Sedona
By Bestforless - April 16 - 10:00 amOverall, a great vechicle to drive. Especially on those long trips. I would recommend the video option if you have kids. Plenty of power, nice looks and regularly get comments asking if i like it and that its one of the better looking minis around.

So far so good - 2003 Kia Sedona
By Theolus - April 10 - 2:00 amAfter 3 months, we love our Sedona! Not one problem with it so far. My wife loves the way it drives. We have 5 softball playing daughters and it carrys the seven of us and their gear to tournaments on weekends with no problem. Plenty of power to move us along. The leather upholstery is holding up well to the abuse.

GREAT MINIVAN - 2003 Kia Sedona
By familyof5 - April 3 - 2:00 amThis minivan is amazing. The options, features and factory warranty that you get for the price are what convinced us to buy this vehicle. We had a Pontiac Montana for three years before buying a Kia Sedona and are very happy with our purchase. I did a lot of research and test drove several makes of vans before we decided this was the one.

Shouldve bought one sooner! - 2003 Kia Sedona
By jabbott83 - January 26 - 10:00 amWe just purchased our Sedona on May 31st and I cant believe we waited this long! KIA would not have normally been our first choice since they are relatively new to our market, but after much research and a few test drives, KIA Sedona won hands down! The ride is awesome, it is stylish, well equipped and the safety ratings are wonderful! I dont mind the lower gas mileage because I know that it is caused by the reinforced body for safety. You cant put a price tag on the safety of yourself or your family!
