Minor upgrades are in store for the Sedona in its second year on the market. On the outside, buyers will find new taillights, and in the cabin, you'll note a new audio faceplate and a remote fuel-door release. The LX model gets a CD player, while the EX now comes with two keyless remotes, as well as additional leather on the armrests and lower portions of the seats. A trailer hitch is now available for all Sedonas.

• Hefty curb weight, below-average gas mileage, missing a few key minivan features, potentially expensive to repair in minor collisions.

  I love my new van! I can not believe all of the features I got for the price! Leather, power everything, and a sun roof....who said a mini-van is not cool! The only thing that really stinks is the gas milage. I had a Chrysler Town & Country before and I could drive forever, I get pittiful milage on this. But over all, two thumbs up!

  This summer, with three adults on board, we enjoyed a 3,500 mile trip pulling a very large, two- axle, tent trailer. The power was amazing. We could pass slower vehicles going up hill. Gas consumption for this trip was good. 17 mpg. The vehicle is very comfortable on long trips.

  Preforms well, has plenty of power from either a stop or when one might pass on two lane road. It fits our family well for all our needs and the family dog. The warrenty tells me that Kia is confident in their product

  Ive only had my 2003 Sedona EX for a week but so far I love it! (I traded in my 96 Windstar) We couldnt beat the price/options/warranty on the Kia. It rides and drives very smoothly. I didnt know how many new features theyve come out with since a 96 that Id been driving! I dont mind sharing, for those who are still comparison shopping, that our total price incl. tax/title/tags etc was $20,300. (incl. $3000 total rebates) I have a sunroof and ABS, but no leather. So far, the gas mileage has been fine for me (I live in a semi-rural area without heavy traffic)

  This van is an amazing value for the money. The quality and reliability are great, and the 3.5 L engine gives far more pickup than anything in its class. Way to go Kia!

  I am still in awe of this van. I truly love every aspect of it. The stereo rocks, the ride is perfect and it looks great! With the price, quality and warrantee I dont see a reason to buy anything else.

  Cant beat the options and value for the price. It doesn’t have all the luxuries like auto sliding doors and an entertainment system. But, it wont cost you $35K either. The standard LX has everything you need and the EX looks good with the added 2 tone body style and mag. wheels.

  Wanted a Sienna, But for approx 8,000 less and more features, we decided to go with the sedona. Gas mileage is not so great , but it will take a lot of miles to burn the 8k difference in price. Also the Kia dealership was easier to deal with than the toyota dealerships. This van along with its warranty will eventually take huge market share from toyota, honda, etc.

  I AM SO PROUD OF MY SEDONA. I FEEL AS IF I KNOW A SECRECT THAT THE OWNERS OF WINDSTARS, CARAVANS AND OTHER MINI VANS DONT. YOU CAN OWN A QUALITY PRODUCT AND NOT HAVE TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF EXTRA DOLLARS TO GET IT. MY SEDONA IS CLASSY, SPORTY, ROOMY AND RIDES LIKE A DREAM. THE BEST PART IS YOU DONT SEE THEM AT EVERY STOP LIGHT. I FEEL PROUD TO BE DIFFERENT. I LOVE MY KIA!!!

  Just to sum this up in a nutshell, this was the BEST purchase we ever made! We researched every mini van on the market, and test drove several different makes. The KIA drove the best, and is so comfortable! The best part, the price, unbelievable. We couldnt be happier!
