Overview & Reviews
An AM/FM/CD stereo and a tilt steering wheel are now standard on all 2004 Jeep Wrangler models. A new aluminum wheel design is standard on Sahara models and optional on Sport models. Right-hand-drive versions are also available for fleet utility service. A Columbia Edition option package is also new for 2004.
- Cheap, fun to drive, classic styling, go-anywhere capability.
- Soft top a handful to manipulate, difficult ingress-egress, slow steering, bouncy suspension on the street.

It is certainly not a Honda!! - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Speedfiend66 - February 8 - 10:00 amYou cant beat all the offroad options rolled into a low interest loan. Beefy transfercase, differentials, lockers F/R, and still have LSlip for everyday driving and fuel economy. This is the Jeep of Jeeps, dont let anyone tell you different. Building an older Jeep will not be as this turn-key beast.

Better Get Ear Plugs... - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Randi - February 4 - 7:50 amThis is a very competent vehicle, for off-roading, but as a daily driver it leaves much to be desired. The Goodyear MTR tires howl like a lonely dog wishing for the moon. The wind noise is certainly there, but you wouldnt know thanks to the tires. You also need to choose your back seat passengers with care, as they may need to be extra nimble to get in and out. The performance is lack luster at best, with the engine attempting to lug around 3700+ pounds, which also offsets any hope of reasonable gas mileage. It will get down and dirty in the off road enviorment, but other than that, you should have limited expectations.

Rubi-Rocks! - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By JBro - December 21 - 10:00 amI LOVE this vehicle! Ive been in Wranglers before, but NEVER one like this! This vehicle is DEFINATELY for the more adventurous driver. Would recommend it to ANYONE! I was in an accident, hit by another driver - her fault, and man did those tires survive a beating! The wheel fenders took the impact, saving me from being smashed in by my drivers side door. I believe the Rubi saved my life!

Best of the Bunch - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By KSnodgrass - December 18 - 3:50 pmThis is our third Jeep from the Wrangler family. Love it so far. Best ride and functionality of the group (we still own the other two). They finally catered to those of us in the south and added functional A/C. The only downside is the vulnerability. Weve been broken into 3 times in 3 weeks. I guess thats the drawback of the soft-top.

Jeep Rubicon - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Mark Calzia - November 19 - 2:00 amI am very excited about my new Rubicon, I have had it in the colorado mountains and its performance was unsurpassed. I went where other jeeps could not and with ease. I have owned 2 other jeeps in the past, but this Rubicon (stock) is awesome.

Whyd I Wait So Long? - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By Chad - November 18 - 12:53 pmI love my Jeep. I bought it in June 2005 with only 6k miles. So far Im at 15k with no problems so far. Road manners are much better than I ever expected. Not nearly as loud as I thought it would be, especially with the hard top on. Not the most roomy and practical vehicle on the planet but then again who buys a Wrangler for space, fuel economy, or practicality. Its a lot of fun to drive & customization options are endless with all the aftermarket items available for Jeeps.

i dont know about this... - 2004 Jeep Wrangler
By D - November 9 - 3:06 amIm going to be accosted for this but... I hate driving this thing, it is in perfect condition and all but it is HELL on the highway! You feel like the wind is going to take you and flip you over and It has almost happened a few times. It wont move in snow unless its in 4X4. Dont get caught in a snow storm on the highway because driving in 4wd on the highway is scary also. Overall its a very dangerous vehicle if you do a lot of highway driving. The newer ones address those problems and its not as bad but do be careful, and choose wisely if you are going to drive this on the highway. Also my local dealer is full of scammers and traveling salesman.
