  • Very nice car - 2005 Hyundai XG350

This is only the thrid day I have owned this car. Very nice all around. The touring tires seem to ride the ridges on the freeway. Cliamate control works well. Wish it had a pwr tilt wheel. Love the no framed door windows. Got about 22MPG on the first tank. Can here something vibrating lightly somewhere in the back. I have owned two other hyundais and have loved the reliability. Now that I needed a lux car for my job, glad to see that hyundai can still service my needs. I can get 4% below invoice on a new ford, but still went for the hyundai due to the great warranty and the fact I can rely on it every day, sad to say about an american car, even thought we all live here. wtg hyundai!

Great Car for driving. Alot ofluxury for the money. Built solid and i get alot of complements from people when thet see the car. they cant believe it is a hyundai. when you drive the car you do not feel the road and handles beautifully. i think hydundai will be a car that honda and toyota will have to complete against. i owed a toyota since 1992, and when i purchase my second toyota in 1998, i noticed it was not the same at their past quality of car.

  • Just Another Car-- Feeling Un-American - 2005 Hyundai XG350
    By -

Bought new. Bought for the looks, price, and warranty. In the end; the transmission was replaced. $900.00 timing belt plus brakes at 60K. Armrest latch and cruise control button broke. Mysterious air bag light/sensor in seat that took no less then five or six tries to fix, and just out of warantee... main wire harness had a meltdown. So in the end it is just another car. Read the comments below; they are all on the money. (Hope all those transmissions got replaced?) Biggest let down...availability of parts. Nothing like waiting a week for your parts to arrive from Korea. And darn it if I just feel un-american driving it around. Wish I had given my money to an American Co.

  • Great Value for the Money - 2005 Hyundai XG350

The only complaint I have is the acceleration is bit jerky if you dont ease off the gas pedal. Nice power. Im not usre how the Avalon gets 31 MPG and this gets 26 highway. They could improve that a bit. I get 20-22 average in mixed driving, depending on how much highway driving.

  • Loving it! - 2005 Hyundai XG350

This is a great car for the money. I had never owned a Hyundai prior to this purchase, so I did not know what to expect. This car has not let me down, no regrets. I love my car.

  • Best Bang for the Buck - 2005 Hyundai XG350

My wife recently bought a 350L. For around $2 $25000 not counting a trade in, you get a lot of car, with features that surpass the Mercedes Benz I own. Hyundai has finally come around and built a fine automobile. Good power, solid but comfortable ride, no options everthing included. Amazing how the South Koreans can produce a car like this for the money. If you like to show off your car and how much it costs, this is not a car for you. But if youre a down to earth person, the Hyundai is your car. My wife has been asked 3 or 4 times what model Mercedes is it? Goes to show you where Mercedes is going with its designs.

  • Great car, expensive to maintain - 2005 Hyundai XG350

I agree with Aaron. The parts are foreign and arent always in stock. No problem with the transmission for me though. There is a glitch with the heating and a/c blower, it wont shut off. The problem has been noted and all you have to do is replace a blower motor resistor (located above and behind the glove compartment). The timing belt is a bit costly, $900, but its cheaper than buying a new car. The tires are a bit fancy and expensive to replace as you only get to choose from a couple options. Its a great car, ride is smooth and quiet. Love all of the options that come with the car, too. It is rich.
