  • Simply the best! - 2005 Hyundai XG350

Have put on 80,000 miles cross country driving - oil changes, gas and new tires our only expense. Comfortable, fast, great handling/cornering, totally reliable. We have averaged 24 MPG (US gallons). I have been driving 45 years and owned many cars in all price ranges. This is the best. The climate control does have a mind of its own sometimes but not a major issue.

We keep a car at least ten years so depreciation is not a consideration. Our lastcar was a Lincoln Towncar. Well not have another. The XG350L came with EVERYTHING! (Except sat. navigation & rear mud flaps.Any comparable brand would have cost 8 to10K more. Great warranty!

My husband is the only careful driver of this car. He was thrilled to buy it, and has been fairly pleased with the performance. It is now over 2 years old, and has 11,000 miles on the clock. He just had an inspection done, and the brakes are gone already. The repair department told my husband that they usually only last to 9,000 miles. The radio has been just awful from the start. It has been in repair twice. Problem has not been resolved. Terrible to listen to on a trip to town, crackling all the time. So I end up putting an audio tape in.

If you drive a Cadillac, Lincoln, Acura or Lexus, ask yourself why when you mail out a check every month? This car has it all, does it all and all at a price that no one cn match with warranty that no one can match. Botton Line: This is the one, luxury, fuel economy, feel good warranty, quality and great looks

  • Great Car - 2005 Hyundai XG350

This is the second hyundai I have owned. And I am more than pleased with it. For the price I could not ask for a better car. I test drove a mustang and an ultima before buying it. It has much more interior comfort than the mustang and is so much smoother driving than the ultima that I could not believe it. In short I could not ask for a better car even if I paid more money.

  • easy decision - 2005 Hyundai XG350

Afterlooking at full sized cars, it was easy to decide on the Hyundai 350L. Leather heated seats that you can preset to your driving comfort helped in our decision to by a Hyundai. The car probably would not suit a tall person but being just under six feet, it suits us fine. The fuel economy is ok at 20 mpg all around driving. With a 3.5 liter engine it has plenty of get up and go. The other feature we liked was the 10 year 100K warranty. We were able to negotiate a bumper to bumper warranty into the price. Were very happy with the car.

  • Stuck in slow mode - 2005 Hyundai XG350

I have a 2005 XG350L. My most recent problem has been when I drive from a parking space my car only wants to go about 10 miles and hour no matter how much gas I give it. After a while it will go 20 mph no more. After that it finally takes off like nothing happened. This process takes about 5 to 10 mins. When taken to repair could not duplicate. So can not fix. Accel position sensor and fuel sensor have been replaced previously. I love my car, but it is not reliable. The outside body also is thin. It dents and scratches easily. I would not recommend this car to anyone. I am working with the Hyundai Motor America consumer assistance center now I dont know that it will help.

The best car I have ever owned.I looked at Mazda6, Honda Accord, and Toyota Camry also. The Hyundai offered more for the money than any of the others.

  • Luxury For Less - 2005 Hyundai XG350

After 12 months and 20K + miles, the 350 XGL performs well and is enjoyable to drive. I have maintained maintenance schedule which is reasonable at 3500 - 3750 mile intervals. Truly hope car is built to last for duration of 5/10 year 60000/100000 mile warranty.
