  Im in LOVE - 2003 Hyundai Tiburon

  I love my new tib. I first saw it a year ago at the auto show when it came down to miami. My friend and I thought it was the coolest car, and were amazed when we found out the it was made by Hyundai. Just recently I bought the car and got a great deal on it. The car looks amazing from the exterior and interior, and the comments i get for it are the best. I wish it had a little more hp, and I wish that the after market performance parts werent so hard to find. Guess thats what I get for buying a car right when it comes out.

  The structure of this model is outstanding. A week after I bought the vehicle i was in a severe accident. I was at a dead stand still when i was rear ended by a Hyundai Santa Fe who was doing about 40 mph. and the back window didnt even crack. Although there was almost 10K in damage done to the car, it was rebuilt and looks like new.

  I have owned this car for over a year now. I bought it used with 42k on the odometer and since have put another 31k on it. This car has never left me stranded - always starts and just goes! I have found that using premuim gas has not only improved my mileage but also improved performance. It may NOT be the fastest coupe or the best handling one either - but from a maintenance point of view - you couldnt GIVE me a GT-V6! Just ask any long term Hyundai mechanic and theyll tell you why. Besides which - the V6s MPG is rated at 16/29 - my 4Cyl is rated at 24/32 - and i REGULARLY clock 27-28 MPG with a high of 33 MPG on one tank! By the way - it is a HOT looker in Dark Blue Clearcoat Metallic!

  bought the car in 2004 with 12k miles on it. It now has 144k and with normal maintenance it has been a great daily driver. Coast to coast several times. The door bottoms and wheel wells are starting to rust, but who cares! This car owes me nothing after all this time. Went with an auto because of the manual transmission design flaw. The auto had been flawless with normal 40k mile transmission services.

  I Love this car, i was in between the spec-v and this car. i test drovee both and fell in love with the tibby. the look the performance. althought he hp is kind of low you can do alot to change that. i love it

  After a LONG wait, I finally got this Beauty! Its so sleek and aerodynamic. I get notices alot in this car. My friends all like it! This car is 3 times as good as my Firebird I got earlier this year! So much style and class you almost wish you could wear it to Sunday School. I love it. Its the best thing Ive gotten in years!

  I purchased this Tib GT for my wife. We saw it at the Denver Auto Show in 2001 as a 2003 model for 2002. She wanted her first new car and we were comparing it against the Honda Civic, Nissan Sentra and a couple other compacts. We decided Hyundai for they had the best warranty, standard features and best style. Test drove it and fell in love. Bought the third one in the state. Reliabilty is insane, Ive owned around 10 vehicles and this GT is by far the most reliable. Maintain it and it goes and goes. Its quick, fast and fun. Winter 2006-2007 was rough here in Denver with Blizzards and all. But with only all season tires, never got stuck. 89,000 and still screams down the road.

  Hands down, the fastest car on the road. Get the V6 version. Only I dont like is that it eats gas like no other and doesnt ride as smooth as I thought. But all the attention that I get is worth it. everyone wants to know... " What is that?" It turns so many heads. It will smoothly glide to 60 in a heartbeat and move you wisting past cars before you know it. Get it if you are trying to look good while staying under $20,000.

  Great car took me 6 months of research to decide on the Tiburon. I looked at every model comparable model that Mitsu, Toyo, Honda, Acura make. For the price know one can touch it. To the people who want to know about the horse power it is 170 at the engine crank. They may advertise 181 but the papers you sign at purchase point states it at170. Good stereo clear treble strong deep bass (not thumping). Gas mileage is pretty good best I have seen is 29mpg and this was doing 65mph on the highway with ac on. Handling is outstanding at high speeds as well as city driving. As I feel the build and quality of my car (so far) is on par with anything Honda builds.
