Great Mid-Size SUV - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Sally - June 8 - 2:03 amI purchased this car on an impulse while I had my 2001 Santa Fe in the dealership having foglights installed on it. While I was waiting, I took a Tucson for a test drive and fell in love with it. Even though I loved my Santa Fe, I obviously like the Tucson even better. I have nearly 2000 miles on it now and Im pleased with everything about it. It drives like a dream, is very comfortable, and has all the features I like. Id heartily recommend this car to anyone looking for a smaller SUV.

Happy Tucson owner! - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Kathy - May 2 - 12:40 amThis is the first time in 33 years we did not buy a Buick. This SUV is great. It rides like a car... it doesnt feel huge or bulky. It handles beautifully; visibility is excellent compared to other SUVs we drove.

2005 Tuscon(or is that a Lexus or BMW?) - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By JPC - April 21 - 10:40 amIve owned the Tuscon for a month and have put a 1,000 miles on it.The fit and finish of this vehicle is very impressive. The interior is quiet; no squeaks or rattles and you do not have that cheap plastic feel surrounding you as you drive. It feels like your driving a well thought out solid vehicle. If some people have not heard...HYUNDAI has arrived. These are not the same throw away Hyundais of the past. They have really improved in every aspect.

Great Deal - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By jollyrider - April 21 - 2:00 amThe first time I saw this vehicle I was impressed. The exterior and interior is much better looking than the Santa Fe. It may be smaller in the back, but it compensates on much better front seat room for driver and passengers. Although, it doesnt accelerate like a sports car, it does have a confident exit and highway take-off. Steering is good enough for normal driving conditions

I love my Tucson! - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By nyorker - March 28 - 10:56 pmI absolutely love this car! It handles great in the snow and has a really smooth ride in all kinds of weather. I love all of the safety features that come standard with this car and it rides better than comparable Hondas. You get a lot for the money. To me it seems like its worth twice what I paid. The only problem Ive had is that a sensor switch went and had to be replaced and I also need to have my radio/cd player replaced. But its under warranty, so thats OK.

10 Year Review - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By red70 - March 27 - 12:07 pmLX 2.7L V6 4WD. I have 63K miles on the vehicle as of today. Just replaced the rear brake pads. Change the oil once per year. Vehicle is still running fine with no problems. I still enjoy driving it. This was a good value for the money. During the 10 years, there were only 3 main issues. The trans-axle leaking oil, The battery going dead randomly, and the intermittent door locks is ongoing.

Second Hyundai - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Happy - March 18 - 6:10 pmTraded 4 year old Santa Fe in for Tucson. Sales lady was very friendly. I wanted a 4 cylinder, but they were out of stock. I am glad I got 6 cylinder. It has enough power for everyday need. The content level for the price is outstaning, including the warranty.

Best Compact SUV - 2005 Hyundai TUCSON
By Powman - February 23 - 1:26 pmExcellent compact SUV. More room than a RAV4. More features than any of the other compact SUVs. Easier to drive on the road than a Jeep Liberty. Off road capabilities? Dont know and dont care since I stick to paved roads. Love it and am still very happy with the purchase four months later.
