  • Great Value - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

Bought in Mar of O5 and now have 11k miles on it. Car has been flawless. Traction control great on icy roads. Starts great in below zero weather. Gas mileage consistently between 27 and 33 mpg. Handling is nice not to stiff and rides much nicer and quieter than my 02 Honda civic. Stereo good. Cannot see why anyone would pay the extra money for a Honda which is several thousand more with less equipment. Warranty is unbeatable and overall quality seems to be great. I would recommend this car to anyone that is looking for a great car at a great price.

I love this car! I have been driving a 94 Geo Prizm around for a long time, finally traded it in for a pre- owned 05 Elantra GT 4dr sedan (manual transmission) with only 8400 miles on it, and I am in heaven. It is a great commuter car, plenty of pep, I get good gas mileage, and it loooks great to me, which is what matters. I have only had the car for 3 days now, and I like it more every day I drive it. I seem to find excuses to have to run errands just so I can drive this car some more. The handling also seems to be perfectly fine to me, as long as you dont compare it to a performance sports car. Now if Hyundai only made a small minivan or CUV for my wife . . . :)

  • Im Young Again!! - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

I love my Elantra! At 59 years of age, its great to feel young again! I feel like Im driving a sports car! The white pin-striping the dealership adds at no extra charge really sets off the Rally Red color and black trim! (I call it my racing stripe! LOL!)

  • not for the long haul - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

Great little commuter car, 32 mpg, not a car for long trips. Seats poor quality, even in the "upscale" GT model. The car has been reliable with 32K in under 10 months.

  • Upgraded Accent - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

This Hyundai is our second. First was a 2000 Accent and find this one much improved. 10/10 is unbeatable and Hyundai took excellant care to meet my needs on the 2000 Accent when things went bad.

  • best value in the market - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

I shop around and corolla was 14k striped , civic 15k striped, sentra 15k moderate equiped and some bad reviews, dont mention the guarranty in any other, service and guarranty in the dealerships nation wide have very good reviews, the cash price was $12,450 and there was $1,500 cash back so I paid $10,950 plus taxes, etc. the only thing you have to do is get a cd player and you have a fully equiped car, whit the best guarranty, at the lowest price. what else can you ask for. I have driven the car for 5000 miles and have been a flawlees experience.

  • The Underrated Alternative - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

The car is great. Comfortable, fun to drive and very affordable. But the dealership experience was horrible. I am very happy with this car. Drive this car if you are considering a Civic or Corolla.

  • Great Buy! - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

Excellent car, highly recommend to everyone. Only complaint about the car is it only gets 27 MPG on the highway regardless how you drive it. Will buy Hyundai vehicles from now on!

  • Very Impressed - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

This car has a quality feel to it. Very smooth shifting automatic, good pick up and turning circle. Firm comfortable leather seats. Switch gear for climate control and turn signal has the feel of Toyota quality. Windshield washer nozzles spit out 3 streams each.Ice cold A/C. No wind noise on the highway.Sporty handling. Bright brake lights(I can light up the persons face sitting behind me at a stop light) For the weekend mechanic oil filter and spark plugs are easily accessable. NOW THE BAD: It took 3 trips to 2 different dealships to fix the leaky moonroof. Front and rear passenger seats need to sit higher for more thigh support.Mushy brakes. Overall a great bargain.

  • Fun things do come in small packages - 2005 Hyundai Elantra

The car is small, yet big. It is a comfortable car on long trips and surprisingly it holds alot of luggage, bags and whatever else you want to bring home from vacation. Fuel economy on this car has been great. I drive a mix of highway and city and I have been getting between 29 and 31mpg, On trips, I have been getting 34.5mpg. It is fun to pull in to the gas station, fill up and leave, while the SUV guy is waiting and waiting and waiting to hit the full mark.
