  • Great decision - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This is our second minivan. You get to know which features that you use daily, and the Honda has them all plus more-- and it doesnt feel like youre driving a large vehicle. It is very peppy, and the features are well thought out. I seldom takeout the 2nd row seats, so having the 3rd row easily fold flat was a big deal to us. Comfort in the 2nd row plus the extra jump seat just made sense! My wife and I seriously compared the Sienna and Chrysler Town & Country, and also looked at the other competitors but the Honda won hands down. I dont have small children, but the design makes sense. It still has plenty of room to haul, but it feels more like a luxury car (well, it is!) KUDOS, HONDA!

  • A near perfect mini-van - 2005 Honda Odyssey

The new Odyssey is close to perfect. Great handling with lots of power. I am a big guy 64", 230 lbs.. I find the seats very comfortable, with ample leg room. We nearly bought new last year, we are very glad that we waited for the new style and new standard options like sunroof, 6 cd changer, etc. Not as quiet as the Sienna, but overall a better vehicle. Reliability and depreciation of domestic mini-vans drove us to look at Honda/Toyota. Why cant Chrysler fix their transmission and front end woes? They have existed for years!

  • A workhorse - 2005 Honda Odyssey

We have five young children who are very hard on vehicles. We live in Texas and log a lot of miles just in our daily life. We have had no mechanical issues, some electrical issues secondary to Dr. Pepper. The car rides solid and drives true with 80k on it, a majority of it city and suburban driving. Would buy again. Our dealer has been very supportive and has given us excellent service from the sale to present day.

  • Wind Noise is terrible - 2005 Honda Odyssey

The noise level in the Odyssey is terrible. You can hear the road noise as if you are riding on the hood. If I was to do it again I would of bought a Sienna!!!!

  • A Great Van - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Bought this van in January 05. So far (5,000 miles) have not have one problem with the vehicle. Performance is impressive and mileage is decent (better than my 1988 Volvo). Ive driven Sienna - there is definately hesitation when you step on the gas - plus I consider the front end to be ugly. Pick-up and handling are terrific. Only minus is the NAVs ability to recognize certain voice commands. I highly recommend this van to anyone in the market. v

  • Odysseys a Disappointment - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I was so excited to purchase the redesign model of this van after owning an Accord I loved. We had to move to a minivan after the birth of our 3rd child. Weve had the power steering pump replaced 5 times, and were preparing to put on the 3rd set of tires (@ 67K miles)! Weve been told only 1 tire is made for the van-- Michelin --cha ching! I love the overall look of the van inside and out, enjoy the interior features and layout, and love to drive it despite all the aggravation. I must say, though, the van was a let down in general. I was really hoping for better fuel economy with the Honda reputation. I average 18 mpg around town.

  • Sweet Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey

So Far I had a few things to pick about. The van came from another dealership so i really didnt have a choice other then that it was the color that i wanted. 1.scratches here and there inside the van(dealer going to fix that). 2.needed alignment(dealer taking care of that as well. 3.Glove box off alignment(did that myself). All in all the van is really nicer then most in its class.

  • Love It - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I have been so happy about my Odyssey. I owned a 2004 Sienna (for 3 months before it was stolen), but we decided to get the Odyssey when it came out. We love the way the Odyssey drives - much less like a boat (Sienna) and more like a sedan. My husband, a sports car driver, doesnt even mind driving the minivan now!!

  • Real Family Vehicle - 2005 Honda Odyssey
    By -

This review is written of the truth. My families first roadtrip of over 1700 miles with our 2 kids was an absolute joyride. The ride was quiet which is almost impossible with 2 kids and they were thoroughly entertained with the DVD system for the 2 day ride. We have had more problems on a plane ride for 3 hours than in this van for 2 days! My brother has a BMW 740i and this van is just as luxurious with the heated seats and leather interior not to mention the sunroof and cupholders for days! Power when needed. Tried the sienna and the quest and for overall room, amenities, comfort the honda covered all the bases
