love this mini van - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By paseur - May 27 - 5:36 amI cant say enough good about this van. So easy to drive, comfortable and roomy. Place for every need we could want. In riding along you can see every thing ahead and right down on the street. A very good view around you . The camera is very big view behind you. Windows are large , the pull up screens are handy on the windows on second row and they do roll down. Dvd intertainment and the satellite radio*and the navigation system ,is the best we have seen. We are happy we choose the ex leather it has so many features we enjoy.

Excellent Car - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By cmf - May 24 - 3:50 pmThe care handles extremely well. in the first snowfall, it was above average. I wish all wheel drive was an option. The heated outside mirrors was a big plus. My daughter loves the DVD. the leather is easy to clean. Easy to use fold up/down rear 60/40 split seat. Easy access to third seat even with second row middle seat in. The second row windows that open are EXCELLENT!!!

Mileage Suffers in the WV Hills - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Adam from Charleston - May 22 - 11:36 amMy wife and I have owned our Redrock Pearl Odyssey Touring for about a month now and we are loving it! The Odyssey has decent power, great build- quality, and sporty handling (for a minivan). Add to this a fantastic dealer experience and you get a couple of converts to all things Honda. Although my wife doesnt think that it is quite as "cool" as the 2002 Volvo S60 AWD we replaced with the Odyssey, we are both very impressed with the overall design and features of this van. We purchased this vehicle from Lester Raines Honda in South Charleston, WV and they took nearly $3,000 of the sticker. We also recently leased a 2005 Accord LX V6, so maybe we were given the "bulk" discount?

Mostly Great Van - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By "AR"VanOwner - May 21 - 9:43 pmWe test drove the 2004 Sienna, but the Odyssey had the seating flexibility, safety features and features that we wanted at a lower price than the Sienna. Although the Sienna XLE had some nice features that we would have liked (telescoping wheel, fog lights, 3rd row sunshades and rear auto climate control), the seating configuations, locking storage, power and economy, and being a 2005 model sold us on the Odyssey. Still, Id say it depends on what matters most to a potential buyer.

Safe and fun witj lots of room - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By L.Cline - May 12 - 3:49 pmThe Odyssey is by far the best auto buy we have ever made. It handles like a car instead of a top heavy mini van. My husband and I have 2 children and 2 dogs. We can all ride together and not drive each other crazy. The kids watch the local t.v channels or a movie from the flip down screen and, the dogs sit in the back area. We still have room for more. The fuel millage is great for a mini van. The "ECO" mode kicks in a lot and that really helps. Around town, we average 22-24 mpg. We just went on a 3.5 hour trip to the mountains in NC and going UP the mountains, our avg. we 24. Coming down and back to Greenville, SC our avg was 33 mpg.

Best Mini I have had - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By 2k5ODC - April 17 - 6:00 amThe 2005 Odyssey has been exceptional inhandling, power, convenience, andconfort. Except for the price (MSRP was as close as I could get the vehicle) I could not be more satisfied. I was really taken by the amount of power this vehicle has. The luxury appointment and overall design. The fold down 3rd seat is so much more usable now that it is 60/40 split. I had a Quest as a loaner when my van was having things installed and could not believe how heavy the Quests 3rd seat was and difficult to fold down. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking at a mini van to not miss this one. Worth taking a look.

Satisified - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By E.L. Mac Donald - April 15 - 3:00 amThe long distance mileage is as expected, the local driving is not quite up to par. (maybe the a/c is pulling down the mileage. The shift control does not give the read out of what gear you are in, you must look at the dash board. Do not care for that feature.

40K Performance Report - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Ed - April 11 - 5:53 pmJust went over 40K. So far, had to replace factory tires at 30K, have wheel bearings in one wheel replaced, and have a new AC compressor installed. Selling dealer worked with Honda factory to cover cost of bearings and AC work, even though it was out of warranty when it happened. Bravo on dealer service! Still, was unpleasantly surprised at the problems considering I had had all scheduled services done at the dealer and Honda reliability is legendary (but now perhaps slipping!!). In general, Im happy with the van and just love the dealership service. Crossing my fingers nothing else will go bad anytime soon.
