Good gas mileage becuse of the Variable cylinder management. Comfort, head and legroom and driving position. The no flat tires take the worry out of flats and I would never, ever buy another car without the navigation system.

  • This van rocks - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Had a chrysler town and country 2005 had less than 6000 miles on it when traded it in. that van had a ton of problems with it, at about 1500 miles on it the battery leaked had a maintance free battery and those cheap idiots replaced it with a very cheap battery I had to maintain? At 2500 miles had to have the fuel pump and bcm chip replaced, after being stranded twice! I HATED THAT VAN we also named it the puttermobile. Checked out the toyota and Honda and when we compared the two, Well it didnt take us to long to figure out the best deal, Quality and price hands down it was the HONDA. paid $28800 for it got EX with leather it came standard with heated seats and 6 disc player and on and on

We looked and test drove all the competition, and we chose this van because of all the little things they added to this van. Things you wouldnt normally think of, they have it covered. Then the resale should keep us able to keep trading every couple of years. Thanks Honda

  • Great Van- Best of Class - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Great van! I love the center seat in the 2nd row so that all 3 of my kids in carseats can sit together! Ive had it for over a year now- it has had about 5 recalls and had to have the regulator in the driver side sliding door replaced so that the window would roll down- overall- still a great van! Highly recommend!

  • Too many Problems - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This van has had more problems than all of the Hondas Ive owned combined. The motor mounts, catalytic converter, torque converter, struts, steering fluid pump all had to be replaced and my current mileage is 69,000. Very disappointed and will be trading it in, since the warranty has expired and will probably become a money pit.

  • Good but... - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This is our 4th Honda vehicle and I think we got a lemon this time. It was delivered with a scratch on front bumper which needed to be replaced. One year in we had to replace transmission! Weve had lots of issues with driver side window motors, replaced engine mounts twice, replaced tires every 20K miles, rubber sealing on floor area of sliding doors is coming off and my Honda dealer service people know me by name... not a good thing! I dont know what engineers were thinking with shallow cup holders on tray and pull out holder is horrible... too loose to hold things. This van was not what I bargained for... one issue after another since we got it. Thank goodness we got Ext. Warranty!

  • 05 EX-L RES Sage/Ivory - 2005 Honda Odyssey

We have owned this van for about a month now, and have taken it on a few long trips (300-400 miles). We absolutely love the ride and comfort it provides. Gas mileage is still not great, but I am holding out for after the "break-in" period. Wife and I argue over who gets to drive the Odysssey most of the time now. We are really looking to our Christmas trip across the country this year. I have never owned a minivan before, but this is a great first!

  • Very Happy so far - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This is our first Honda we purchased our Odyssey last month, very happy so far. Took it on a road trip a very enjoyable drive, the DVD system is great the kids were very quiet the whole trip. The only thing that I feel hasnt lived up to their claim was the gas milage. I got a little less than what is stated, but not by much. Im sure they have that rated at 55mph too. Oh well the van is great.

The Odyssey is fun drive and the fold down third seat coupled with the removable second row makes it the perfect vehicle for light hauling. It drives and rides as well as a full size sedan. WIsh I had gotten one sooner.

  • This is one big people and stuff hauler - 2005 Honda Odyssey

The 2005 Honda Odyssey EX w/Leather and RES is a true value for money. I love the leather seats, the 2nd row captain seats with center 8th seat and the spacious 3rd row bench seats. The engine is powerful and can accelerate very quickly on highways. The tires and track are wide to give you a comfortable ride. The RES (Rear Entertainment System) being fully integrated with the audio system is really nice, and the sound quality of the audio system is quite good. The controls are ergonomically placed. The headlights are very intense and provide good visibility. The 3rd row seats fold flat and allow you to carry lotsa cargo.
