  • Battery Pack Failure at 90K! - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I picked up this car with 67K miles for $16,000. Fuel economy scrapes 40 MPG doing 65mph. My batteries have failed and were replaced under my extended warranty I purchased from the dealer. $2,700 to replace batteries with no warranty! I have also had a navigation button replaced and a transmission switch repaired under warranty. This car is a phenomenal value. Powerful, super efficient, roomy, quiet, loaded with tech, & visually appealing. The Apple/Honda designed iPod interface is a terrible design. A warranty is a must to much technology to possibly fail. Modern Honda achieve comparable fuel economy with no hybrid price tag. As why this car is no longer produced.

  • The Good and the Bad - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

The Good: Reliability, low repair costs, comfortable cabin, satellite radio The Bad: poor turning radius, long delay when putting car in reverse gear, transmission acts funny at 60MPH (RPMs are too low causing car to shake and vibrate as if the tires are flat), really poor mileage (gets 25MPG on highway but when car idles it gobbles gas fast causing city to be more like 17MPG), responsiveness is just ok. Overall: Would not buy another. I expected more from this car. The worst part is the turning radius, for such a small car I would expect to zip in and out of parking spaces, just can’t happen which makes the car ultra-ultra uncomfortable to run around town with!

  • Seats are the worst! - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

An otherwise very nice car is spoiled by seats that are hard as rocks. The seatbacks felt as though they were convex rather than concave making me feel as though there was a fist in my back all the time. I bought the car in 2011 with 17,000 miles on it and sold it 8 months later after putting just 4200 miles on it. I preferred to drive the car that the Honda was to replace - an 03 Saab with 121K miles.

  • High Reliability. Great Value. Poor seat comfort. - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

Simple lines, excellent interior ergonomics, quiet on highway, excellent gas mileage - I average 33-34 mpg on highway, 29 mpg in commuter traffic with full synthetic oil. Super low maintenance cost. I like everything about the car except the seat. I am 60" and cannot stretch my leg out straight. The seat track is too short and there is too much padding under the leg.

  • hwy mileage on my 2007 accord ex 4 cylinder - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I am amazed by the performance and highway MPG on my 2007 Accord EX 4 cylinder sedan.. We averaged 33 MPG on a weekend trip to Nashville from St Louis. This is our third Honda. The first two were V6 Accords. Normal pure highway MPG seems to be 32. We have approximately 28,000 miles. I share the complaint that I cant easily play my IPOD. through the sound system. I recently purchased a system from SAMS for approx $50 that enables me to play my IPOD Touch through an FM setting.

  • Nice Car. - 2007 Honda Accord

Bought this car used with 40,00 miles on it. Traded in Bucik Rainier V-8 so naturally the gas mileage is improved. I will say that it is somewhat hard to achieve 30+ mpg because the engine is so big (2.4) You really have to have a light foot and let the transmission do they work. Seats are super comfy and the sound system is spectacular. The ipod issue is annoying. Its somewhat fun to drive because it is rather light so cornering is fun, but its no BMW. My favorite thing is how reliable and easy to own this car is. Honda have really developed a solid car. Not a problem yet for me. Glad I got this instead of Audi A4 because of the reliability. Thanks Honda!

  • I plan to run it into the ground... - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my 2007 Honda Accord EX-L (4 cylinder, automatic, 4 door) new from a Honda dealer in April of 2007. Ive put just under 60,000 miles on it in almost 4 years. I really have no complaints so far. Ive been following the proper maintenance and oil change cycles. Took it to a Honda dealer for the first 50,000 miles and have now been using a trusted local mechanic for larger (and more costly) scheduled maintenance. Driving 84 miles round trip to and from work for the last 6 months, and its been as reliable as it always has. I have every intention of driving this car into the ground, and I have no reason to believe it will let me down.

  • Excellence for the Masses - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased this vehicle certified pre-owned, in order to accommodate my growing family. There is an abundant supply of these at Honda dealers, so its not difficult to track down the Accord with the features you want. Ive put on almost 5000 effortless and trouble free miles. The car feels solidly built, yet is nimble to drive, with a relatively light curb weight. 2007 was the last year for this model, as the next generation Accord got larger and heavier. The EX-L in particular strikes a luxurious note, with such features as dual-zone climate control and heated seats. The leather seating surfaces are not very convincing, but easy to keep clean.

  • Reliable,Fast Car, smooth and Quiet Engine - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I loved the powerful quiet acceleration from the 244 horsepower V6 engine, pretty smooth transmission, and very quiet at highway speeds. Peace of mind was great because its a Honda, during the 45,000 miles I drove I didnt have a problem. Simple controls, it was nice to have the buttons on the steering wheel, Armrest was great because it moved, extended. sorry first review bear with me x) Great Ca

  • Besides brakes and paint I love it - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

The clear coat is starting to peel off on the drivers side. I had to have new rear brake pads and rotors put on at 41000 miles. The dealer said that is not uncommon? Seems like poor material quality to me. I do very little braking during my commute to work.
