  • Good family sedan - 2007 Honda Accord

Very solid and reliable, and in the EX-L V6, many luxury car features at a competitive price. Comfortable interior, plenty of room. The V6 has plenty of punch and the 5-speed automatic matches well (in the past, Ive preferred manual trans). Handling is fine, if unexciting. Braking could improve. Well worth upgrading from a baseline 4cyl LX. Personally, Id have been happier getting something smaller/sportier like an Acura TSX. I havent needed all of the Accords space. Thats my fault though. The Accord is great at what it is.

I bought this car about a week ago with 43,500 miles on it. Everything works great! The V6 is smooth and powerful but the gas mileage is not that great. I get an average of 20 mpg combined city and highway. I do a a lot of daily driving, maybe I should have chosen the 4 cylinder engine. But its not that bad. The sound system is pretty decent. Love the leather seats. Good legroom in the back. I gotta get one of the power outlet fixed. My girlfriend likes the girl a lot. Its a great car for my first car!

  • Nice, but to long - 2007 Honda Accord

Nice aerodynamic design, but difficult to park. Outside mirrors are small, the rear part of the car not visible. Sunroof makes the inside ceiling to low and I had only 1 inch above my head. Squeaky Windows in street driving, although the car had only 20,000 km. Interior design all in black and plastic releases bad, unhealthy odor not enough air in the cabin, had to open Windows whenever possible. Not enough braking power. Seats to firm, not comfortable for long driving. Very good tilt & telescopic steering wheel and gear-shifter. Excellent and smooth driving on highway. Radio doesnt have good reception. After 3 months I traded it for an SUV.

  • Pseudo Sports Sedan - 2007 Honda Accord

Here is what is I see as some major flaws with this car. Turning Radius. Making tight turns or getting into a parking space is frustrating. Delay in shifting gears what the heck is this about? I have to wait 2 full seconds before the car is engaged in gear. Quickly performing a 3 point turn is not possible. Front end floats during quick accelerations at times when I want to accelerate quickly and there are bumps in the road, the front end is floating far too much! Gas mileage my wife’s RAV gets the same mileage as this sedan, not good. Overall this is a pseudo sports sedan that is overpriced. Closer to a value car with nice dressings. Good, but not great!

  • First and Last Honda - 2007 Honda Accord

Having been a devoted Toyota owner for 30 years I decided in 2007 to make the move to Honda. At 5000 miles I noticed that the rear lug nuts were rusting, odd since the SE alloy rims shouldnt do that. Honda replaced them at no charge. At 16,500 when car went in for oil change and state inspection I was notified that the rear brake calipers were rusted thus causing the rear brake pads to wear which now needed to be replaced! I was told it was because I dont drive the car enough. I drive everyday to work in stop and go traffic. After no reply from the dealer or Honda of America I am trading in the rust mobile for another Toyota.

I have been driving in sales covering a 400+mile radius since 1996. When the company went off leases and to Runzheimer, I had to find something reliable, with good resale. This car is incredible. It just turned 3 in February. 206k miles now, 150k before needing brake pads, First tires lasted over 65k, second set almost 100k. Excellent fuel mileage. No rattles, squeaks, or seal noise. Tight. Dealership maintained and the only thing other than regular maintenance was a $35 a/c compressor relay. Would like 0 road noise, but this car is quiet enough for cell conversations with a headset. All-in-all the best car for field sales I have found. Dealership (Meyer Honda) is also first- rate.

  • Solid car with significant shortcomings - 2007 Honda Accord

I have purchased this car a certified used car from a dealership in Brooklyn, NY with 27k miles on it. Overall it is a very good car with excellent driving characteristics. Handling and power are great. Interior ergonomics and style is very simple and elegant. Almost Teutonic, perfect for my taste. Fit and finish is also among the positive features. The dealership concealed the fact that the torque converter was previously replaced under recall, it seems it wasnt installed properly and is the main cause behind mediocre mileage (15 mpg city). The cars transmission is also of inferior quality, it hesitates and jerks when engaging 2nd and 3rd gear. Quality of shifting decreases with temperature

  • Great car - 2007 Honda Accord

The Accord is a great car, but the brakes are its Achilles heel. I just replaced them all around - the backs wore first. Other than that - the car is great. I get 35 mpg on the hwy.

  • Simply the Best - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I have over 40k miles logged and not one problem and only 5 oil changes/services. Not real crazy about the styling but the overall reliability, comfort and worry free driving more than make up for it. Honda simply makes the best cars for the money!!

  • So far, so good - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

I have only had my Accord for about a month. I got a great deal on a pre-owned 2007 Accord with a V6 and I love it so far. It has a ton of power and still gets pretty decent mileage. There were some minor interior problems that came with the car, but nothing you wouldnt expect for a 3 year old used auto, and nothing I couldnt fix with a little superglue. I love the handling and the interior, and I can go on for days about how much I love the V6s power. I dont know if I would have spent the extra $$$ for the V6 if I were purchasing a new one, but this one was only about 300.00 more than similar 4cyl models on the same lot.
