Overview & Reviews
Honda has added a new trim level for 2002, the SE. The Accord SE is based on the LX four-cylinder coupe or sedan trim level with an automatic transmission. Features setting the SE apart from LX models include an upgraded audio system, a driver seat power height adjustment, interior wood grain trim, antilock brakes, remote keyless entry and 15-inch alloy wheels.
- Great build quality, spacious interior, peppy yet clean engines, comfortable seats, excellent resale value, reputation for bulletproof reliability.
- Everybody drives one, bland personality, stiff highway ride.

The Perfect Car - 2002 Honda Accord
By Mark Springer - July 21 - 10:00 amThis car is the best value out there. For $22,500 I got a car with good exterior styling, a great interior, impeccable fit and finish, great power, great handling, awesome reliability, and absolutely great resale value. This is my 3rd Accord - I owned a 97 LX and a 99 EX previously. I absolutely LOVE the power of the V-6 on the 02. I have test driven Camry, Maxima, Taurus, BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Lexus IS 300, Infiniti I30, Mercedes C, E & S classes (all but the Benzs at Edmunds live!), and dollar for dollar the Accord blows them all away. There is no better value out there.

Buy It - 2002 Honda Accord
By TxTn - July 21 - 10:00 amExcellent Car for the money. Considered Volvo S60, Acura TL, Infiniti G35 but cost was minimum of $6k less...You get a great car without the snob appeal! Considered the Toyota Camry but could not get comfortable with dealer cost..one dealer quoted 3% over cost and was $1,000 over the price that another dealer quote 4% over invoice. Thank You Toyota...you just sold the Honda!

Hondas Rock - 2002 Honda Accord
By Darkwingduck - July 17 - 10:00 amJust as always, my honda accord is more realiable then any other car I have owned. I love the accord, its interrior design is top notch with comfort built in. The sleek outside is attractive, and its performance is awsome. The only thing I would trade it in for is another honda or acura. Love the car.

Great! (if you ignore the wheels) - 2002 Honda Accord
By AccordSociety Newbie - June 2 - 2:00 amIn March 2002, I picked up my 02 EX coupe with the I4 engine and M/T (in Eternal Blue). Its a blast to drive. It looks GREAT. Its comfy and sporty and just a little bit different than the other choices out there. I tested both the Dodge Stratus R/T and Toyota Solara coupes. The drivers compartments were unbelieveably cramped ...but I fit perfectly in the Honda. Its not the fastest thing off the line, but on the open roads itll hold its own.

Car for Life - 2002 Honda Accord
By Probe8 - May 3 - 10:00 amVery good family car! Excellent reliability. Good gas mileage. Smooth and quiet handling. Financing was almost perfect and can hardly beat the rate. If you plan on having 2 to 3 kids in your family, this will be the perfect fit. One of the safest four door car Ive ever thought. If you think of selling it, this will be one of the highest resale value you can find with its class.

Love It Or Leave It - 2002 Honda Accord
By Greg Smith - April 28 - 2:00 amI truly am infactuated with my new SE, only been a month but "WOW" what a winner! Honda Vs Toyota? Do yourself a favor, both great vehicles (Toyota) $$$$$ (Honda) $$$ and more effort in Hondas interior design & style. There may be alot of them on the road however, theres a reason !!!

Great Worker-Bee car - 2002 Honda Accord
By Neal - March 24 - 8:35 pmBought this brand new, now has 170,000 miles. Never did anything to it until I had 150,000. Still as tight and solid as the day I purchased it. Bulletproof reliability, and holding up very well. For the person who spends countless hours in their vehicle, the Honda Accord is it. Nothing too fancy, but just everything right. I want to get the 2008, but one problem. My 2002 still running like a new car.
