This Year's Model Updates:

Honda has added a new trim level for 2002, the SE. The Accord SE is based on the LX four-cylinder coupe or sedan trim level with an automatic transmission. Features setting the SE apart from LX models include an upgraded audio system, a driver seat power height adjustment, interior wood grain trim, antilock brakes, remote keyless entry and 15-inch alloy wheels.

Pros:
  • Great build quality, spacious interior, peppy yet clean engines, comfortable seats, excellent resale value, reputation for bulletproof reliability.
Cons:
  • Everybody drives one, bland personality, stiff highway ride.

  • Facing the facts - I finally got a Honda - 2002 Honda Accord

I went to get the BMW330i. Came home with an Accord V6 Sedan. What a surprise. Glad I did. Much better car. Theyre powerful, well designed and bulletproof. The V6 Sedan is basically the Acura TL. (My father-in- law even said hell probably replace his 95 Legend with an Accord.) Only other car I might trade it for? 2002 CRV - but my wife got that one.

THIS IS THE FIRST HONDA THAT IM PURCHASING. IVE HEARD A LOT (FROM PREVIOUS OWNERS) ABOUT HOW HONDAS ARE GOOD CARS AND THEY DO NOT GIVE ALOT OF PROBLEMS. I THINK THESE CARS ARE VERY SHARP AND SPORTY.

  • this car sucks - 2002 Honda Accord

i bought this car my very first new one boy what a mistake the carpet had to be replaced because of leak in windshield they would not belive me until they saw the rain on my foot on a good hard rain. The console had to be fixed because it was broke.Already had to have the brakes checked for squealing. After i bought my car i was in a rental 4 times the owners would not talk to us i am very displeased. Lot of wind noise, loud motor, and the gas mileage sucks. I will be getting rid of mine as soon as i can.

  • An Excellent Car - 2002 Honda Accord

Our Accord has been nothing short of wonderful. The car has been incredibly reliable and incredibly solid. It drives well, is very comfortable, and is perfectly sized. the rear seat is actually pretty roomy (after you clamber back there), and the stereo is good. A sports car this is not, but it drives very well.

  • Wonderful Value for Your Money - 2002 Honda Accord

Hondas offer great value and are the most reliable vehicles that you can buy. If you want a vehicle that is environmentally friendly, wont be worthless at trade in time, and provides a safe and comfortable environment while driving, then look at the Honda. I just bought a 2002 Honda Accord VP model. I put 1000 miles on it in three days. It has just about everything anyone really needs except power windows/locks. I paid in the $14,000-$15,000 range. If you are not adverse to a lower horsepower 4 cylinder engine, and can live without the other options I mentioned earlier, then this car will make you happy.

I used to own a Toyota Solara and was content. When it was time to get a new car my mind was set on another Solara until I test drove the Honda Coupe. After the drive I clearly knew which car to buy.

I am totally satisfied with my 2002 V6 Accord! This is my 4th Honda and they have only gotten better. Its totally fun to drive...very stylish, very reliable ...and for a V6, it still gets descent gas mileage. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody!!

  • Excellent Coupe! - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

Since I already own 2 Accord Sedans, a 1993 and a 1999, I thought I would go a different route and go with the Accord Coupe. I really like how Honda has given the coupe its own look, and the look is very nice. The back lights remind me of the Acura NSX and the overall design looks a lot sportier than its sedan brother. The interior design is pretty much the same as the sedan but it is very functional and not confusing at all. Back seat room is pretty good for a coupe, and the ride and drive is smooth and not underpowered. Overall, great car with good looks, good space, and good power for a 4 cylinder.
