This Year's Model Updates:

The TrailBlazer gets a host of minor interior improvements this year. Seating has been restyled and boasts comfort and quality improvements. Detail changes include revised chrome accents, trim enhancements and a new instrument panel appearance. Among the new options are an audio system with CD/MP3 compatibility and full-length side curtain airbags (which replace last year's front-seat side airbags).

Pros:
  • Strong engine performance, comfortable highway ride, extensive features list, user-friendly controls.
Cons:
  • Skittish handling around corners, numb steering, generic interior design with mediocre materials.

I had a 2003 Trailblazer and I was NOT fully satisfied with that model. When looking for this new car I went for the loaded version. I LOVE IT. Drives great, very comfortable. Fuel economy leave a little to be desired, but thats all SUVs

I love my TrailBlazer! I upgraded from a 2000 Grand Am which was falling apart. I bought it with 50,000 miles on it and I have no problems with it. We got a really good deal on it because it has some hail damage but I can deal with that because it pretty much paid for itself! As for gas I was only getting 26mpg with my Grand AM out of town and Im getting 24-25 with my TrailerBlazer so I cant complain.

I really enjoy driving my Trailblazer and recommend it for everyone. This was my first winter with it and I felt really safe. I do a lot of towing in the winter with my snowmobiles and had no problems.

I love my Trailblazer! I have driven Tahoes for the last 9 years, and the Trailblazer compares nicely. The ride is smooth - and as with most SUVs the gas mileage could be better. The console is a bit small - especially if you carry "drinkers". The middle cup holder is the only one that is practical. The rear seats fold down with ease - and the cargo space is great! This is a great vehicle!

  • What a car! - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

I love my Trailblazer. I travel more than 45 minutes each way to work and this car makes it worth the trouble. It is loaded with so many comforts like 4WD, seating for 7, leather seating (heated), OnStar, XM radio, and much more. I bought the medium red color with gray interior and I get so many compliments! I highly recommend this vehicle.

I have owned 5 Chevy Surburbans and the Trailblazer handles as good. It pulls heavy boats and trailers like a much bigger vehicle. The fuel economy under load is excellent. The car is fun to drive, and handles like a high performance auto.

Good response. good ride, good handling. Its easy to park, and quiet on the road at highway speeds. Its easy to service, affords good visibility of traffic, and has excellent stopping power.

I bought this TrailBlazer with 17,850 miles. I test drove quite a few SUVs this had the best ride. Chevy has a winner with this one. This is my first suv me and my son love it. Buy it you wont be sorry.

Excellent overall vehicle. I drive fairly gently, obey speed limits, and use cruise control. 22.5 mpg hwy and 17.5 mpg city. When wanted, great power from the inline 6 cyl (275 hp). Fantastic brakes! Super-tight turning radius... Made driving/parking in chicago a breeze. I bought used with 7k mi 3/06 now has 39.5k mi... Absolutely no problems. 4wd works well... several excursions beach driving at Outer Banks, NC without problems (deflate tires to 15-20psi). I suggest changing OEM tires from Goodyears. I installed Michelin LTX tires and handling, ride, and offroad greatly improved! Outstanding everyday vehicle, in my opinion.

  • Great Buy - 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

We bought our TrailBlazer in 05 after owning 3 Blazers since 1995. This truck handles well, is much more comfortable, has more power and has proven to be extremely reliable. It has been to the dealer four times since we got it, all for scheduled oil changes, nothing else. This thing is loaded with great options such as dual heat controls, front and back, XM satellite radio, OnStar, heated leather seats, sunroof, and more. Mileage varies from around 15-16 in town to as high as 22 mpg on the highway. Would definitely buy another! Chevy has a winner.
