Overview & Reviews
The supercharged Impala SS joins the lineup for 2004. Besides offering 240 horsepower, the SS features a tightened suspension to allow it to take corners with a bit more gusto. Base and LS models have redesigned bench and bucket seats, and a sport appearance package is now available on the base sedan.
- Six-passenger seating availability, good crash test scores, torquey V6 engines.
- Vague steering, soggy suspension on base and LS models, low-buck interior.

My Impala LS - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By MarinesVixen - October 9 - 10:00 amThere is nothing more to life than having a car that is fun to drive. Plus, it looks great just drinving to the local supermarket or mall. It a very under estimated family sedan. Awsome for long trips, because of the great gas mileage. We can get from Washington DC to Wheeling WV and still have a quarter of a tank left!

2004 Impala - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By geo341 - September 16 - 10:00 amThe Impala is a nice car, I think leather interior would be better for comfort, I like the option of no ABS, I feel the car stops a lot better.

Impala SS - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Jennifer Stall - August 15 - 2:00 amI owned a 1996 SS, ran great, but started falling apart slowly. Bought an 04 showroom model, and I personally think it runs great, looks sportier than recent models, has some great options.

Impala-Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By M. Ent - August 10 - 2:00 amThis is my second Impala. I absolutely love the car. I drive 70 miles each day to work and back. Its comfortable, easy to handle, great on gas mileage, and very reliable. I NEVER had any problems at all with either Impala. And I would definately purchase another one!!!

Impala Solid Performance & Value - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By dfreitag - July 4 - 2:00 amSpacious seating and user freindly. Lots of leg, hip and shoulder room, with plenty of room to spare for the person seating in the back seat. The 205 Horse Power engine provides solid performance.I have a Chevy 2500 HD with the 8.1 liter engine,so I am used to alot of horse power.I was not disappointed in the Impala power. The body is very solid and provides a quite ride. I did notice very minor road noise from tires, due to the soft rubber compound of the Goodyear tires. I will go with a set of Brudgestone, once we these tires are worn down (better performance and quiter ride).

cops view - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By motorman587 - June 22 - 10:00 amI ride a motorcycle at work and also have a Ford Crown Vic as a traffic car. I would rather have my SS for duty then the V-8. I know that it is not rear wheel drive or a V-8, but the supercharger pulls harder than my cop car.
