Most notable for 2003 is the 50th Anniversary package available on coupe and convertible models. The commemorative package includes Anniversary red exterior paint, a unique shale interior color, champagne-colored wheels and "50th Anniversary" exterior badging with matching embroidery on the headrests and floor mats. Also included in the Anniversary package (or as a stand-alone option on coupes and convertibles) is an all-new Magnetic Ride Control system that provides instantaneous shock adjustment for optimum ride quality and handling. All models also get additional standard equipment that includes sport seats, a power passenger seat, foglamps, dual-zone auto climate control and a parcel net and luggage shade on coupe models.

  This is the best car Ive ever owned. To get the same features on a European sports car would cost over 100K. Anyone looking for an awesome driving experience should buy the C5 corvette. A limited number of 50th Anniversery Convertibles exist but you can still find them. This car is fanatastic to drive,ride and look at. What a pleasure to own.

  Most fun Ive had driving a car in a long time. Beats my previous `95 LT1 hands down. But, dont know how folks are getting 12.5 second quarter mile times out of this car. Love the car anyway!

  This is my 7th Corvette and by far the very best of the best. The early cars had the power but lacked the refinement of a daily driver.

  We took our car on a 550 mile trip and we were getting 23 mpg. I just put in 6th gear cruise control at 65mph. When we got there we felt great. To do this trip in our 62 or 69 or 73 or 78 would have been painful. Best vette yet.

  after owning the corvette z06 for a little over a year now, i have come to realize why so many people flock to this car. to say it is high performance would be underestimating the cars potential. to say it is only over the top would be a joke and an insult to the car itself. i love this car, it accellerates, handles, and brakes luike a dream. buy one if you get a chance.

  A lot of car for the money and can be overpowering if you do not watch out. Very hard to not go fast as the power is quite addicting. Like driving a Harley...you get membership in a very exclusive club status. Really like the special 50th annv. red color with the shale interior. No problems to date except that we too had the rear shipping shock stuffers left on by the dealer.
