save your cash - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By daniel86 - January 5 - 7:21 pmBought it new in 2003, garaged every winter, low millage, excellent maintenance and body care, Moved to Florida and now on the 3rd A/C compressor, had to replace the dash light for the fan indcator and the ABS Brake control modular, the battery , tires twice and Im not a hard driver, windows leak air and water,The interior noise from the tires is one of the more madding defects in the car, Cant hear the radio or the person in the passenger seat on the HWY. I have only taken thru 1 car wash and got wet, running lights have burnt the plastic housing they are in and I replacethe blubs every other month. was my dream car, I would rather drive my truck w 288,000 mile

What a disappointment - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By C---L - November 10 - 2:00 amJust over 3k miles and my passenger window is stuck. This is pretty pathetic for any car, even more so for $50k or GMs "flagship". I called GM, they used two great excuses: the car is man made and its supplier error. First, you hired those people and pay them $20+ more an hour than Honda or Toyota of America. Second, you qualified those suppliers!!!

You dont really get what you pay for - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By ItalianKU - July 24 - 2:00 amThe car looks great . . . and it is fun to drive . . . if you can put up with just a few little details. First, the interior, where you spend most of your time, is downright embarrassing for a $50,000 car. Everything inside feels like it was taken out of the Cavilers parts bin. It must be embarrassing for Bose to put their name on the sound system . . . it is horrible! My 1999 Ram Air Trans Am with the 500-Watt Monsoon System was worlds better than my 2003 Vette. With all that performance I though I could live with the low quality interior . . . I was wrong!
