The 2003 Corvette Z06 - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By Carlton Cox - March 12 - 10:00 amI have owned several vehicles ranging from 315 to 425 horse power. I loved a couple in spite of their poor gas mileage, high maintenance, and uncomfortable ride. So, the Z06 was love at first ride. It will out perform the 425HP cars I have owned. The ride is very comfortable and it gets a realistic 25-28 mpg on the highway. I have had it to 160 mph, which it achieved very easily on a short closed track and yet it sits very contently in stop and go traffic. .

Z06 - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By pheick - March 12 - 10:00 amThe Z06 is an outstanding vehicle. Traded a 2001 corvette coupe in for it - there is no comparison - the Z06 is more powerful, more responsive and a lot more fun to drive.

Magnetic Selective Ride Control - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By Martoon - January 29 - 10:00 amI drove my 2003 Corvette for 2053 miles before I recevived a call from my salesman that the car was shipped from the factory with PLASTIC STUFFERS IN THE SHOCKS.When removed the car rides better then any Vette made. The service dept thought I was nuts until another Vette came in and the Prep tech found the missing paper work. Attention;Corvette Vehicle Prep Technician(Subject)New Vehicle Preparation for Megnetic Selective Ride Control.IMportant; The Stuffers must be removed during new vehicle preparation.FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION WITH THE VEHICLES RIDE.Whos nuts Now.

Simply Outstanding - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By ted@hotmail.com - November 9 - 2:00 amI am most impressed with the Z06. The engine AND exhaust sound are both excellent, and the torque makes the car amazing to drive. Nothing like being able to accelerate from the light in 4TH gear if you want to! On the highway, the car is very composed, and fairly quiet. The suspension is stiff, but comfortable. Acceleration is simply awesome, and the handling is very light and precise. Braking is very strong, and easy to modulate. Have been averaging about 23 MPG in mixed driving. The car has been flawless, with ZERO build defects. I am loving every moment of it as my daily driver!

Als mid life joy - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By Al Clem - December 29 - 10:00 amAll that power and it still gets me almost 30 mpg on the highway (@70 to75). Now thats better mpg than a Toyota Camry V-6. So I can rationalize that I "had to" get this car to help the environment and do my part to stop our dependency on foreign oil. Isnt American technology grand and how about my rational?

Exceeded all expectations - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By chris p - October 22 - 10:00 amHaving never owned a corvette before, I expected all of the stereotypes to be true, such as a cramped interior, lousy build quality and so forth. None of these having proven to be true. The performance is truly exceptional, it is easy to drive long distances, and nothing has broken or begun to rattle, even with trips to the drag strip and a few road courses. In fact, I frequently choose this over my mercedes sl to drive to work, which surprised even me.

Wouldnt change anything - 2003 Chevrolet Corvette
By ferraf - August 28 - 2:00 amHandels like a dream, great performance, handeling, braking. I am huge corvete fan after this purchase. Great sound system, HUD display is a great feature. The eletromatnetic shock system new to the 03 model is a great feature, the wife enjoys the confort ride. The shocks tighten up in a snap for incredible tights cornering.
