  • Good Solid Truck - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Truck has performed very well, has a good solid engine, and idles very smoothly. Only issue is whistling noise from AC when fan is on low speed. Dealer indicates that it is typical of this truck since less sound insulation is used for this make/model. Small rattles from extra cab space typical of these stlye of trucks. Otherwise, lots of room, nice styling, well planned display and controls. Engine responds well and ride is smooth for 4WD.

  • Best truck for the money - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Plenty of power, smooth transmission. Great looks. Perfect fit and finish. Very large bed, plenty of leg room. Havent had a single problem. Drives much smoother than the Tacoma and Frontier. Feels and handles great. The Z71 package adds more than just looks. The anti-slip rear drive with override works perfect as sliding out in wet conditions is prevented. Perfect alternative to the full size gas guzzlers.

  • Underrated truck - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

After much research I decided to get a loaded Colorado crew cab. I have owned Pathfinders and Jeeps and this truck is just as tough. Its getting 20 mpg right out of the box, and the I-5 is smooth and powerful. I know, I just towed my 5600 lbs. Sea Ray 40 miles to the Lake.

  • A very sweet truck - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

This is my first vehicle, and I leased a 4WD Z71 crew. Its finished in victory red and has chrome pipe steps and the locking hard tonneau cover. The truck is VERY sharp looking and I get plenty of comments on how sharp it is. It is easily the best looking pickup in the segment right now. The I5 engine sounds so good when you rev it up. Its so unique. The transmission is flawless and shifts very well. Ratios are well chosen for a 4-speed auto. The 220hp is great when you tromp the pedal from 40mph. It downshifts into first and will rev up to 6000 until you hit 50mph! This thing really tachs out and revs nicely. I am very pleased with this truck and I would gladly buy another.

This roomy little truck drives smoothly and saves me a lot on gas. I can haul my sons gokart around with no problem. I can seat up to six people comfortably and I get many compliments on its good looks.

  • Great "little" truck - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

This is my first pickup after many years in an SUV. The crew cab has plenty of room for kids and adults alike. The truck bed gets more storage than I ever had in any SUV. I loaded my Colorado up with almost every option and still spent almost 10K less than the middle and high end suvs. The truck has also performed great in the big snow storms weve had in the northeast this winter.

  • My Experience - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Since I have had this truck I have loved it. It feels more comfortable than my old F250 that I traded in and the fuel economy is much better. I have made it from Stow, Ohio to Roanoke, Virginia on half a tank of gas. The truck runs smooth and quiet, you can really feel the power of the engine as well with all of the pick up and go. Since I have had the truck I have had the bed lined with Line-X and I have added a class 3 hitch to pull a pop-up camper and my boat. Even when towing the truck has shown no problems. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a good mid size truck today.

  • Shes A Keeper - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

Ive owned my crew Z71 for a little over 2 years now, havent experienced problem one to date. Its funny because my wife has a Sequoia that she just had to have, purchased it before I bought my truck. 9 times out of 10 if shes running out for an errand she grabs my keys! With a daughter just beginning to drive guess whos vehicle she constantly wants to take as well. I may be needing to buy another one here in the near future, hope they put one out soon with a 6 cylinder, that would make my day. Im getting about 21.7 MPG on the highway with a full crew in it, not too bad for a crew pick-up. Love the Z71 stance, feels big ... without the cost of driving big. Kudos to Chevy on this one.

  • Great Little Truck! - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

I really enjoy driving this truck. Ive had no problems at all. I have yet to get under 21 mpg. Have gotten as high as 28.1. The 2.8L 4cyl is very surprising in the amount of power it puts out. Would definitely buy another one if I was in the market.

  • This is a great truck! - 2005 Chevrolet Colorado

I love my Colorado LS. It has plenty of power. It has good looks, and a nicely designed interior that is comfortable. It has nice options including traction control, compass, thermometer, sliding back glass, power windows, auto darkening rearview, fog lights, 3.5 liter engine, 6 cd changer, and a good trim package. It gets good fuel mileage. The pricing was right too. To me there is just no other truck that compares. I get exited just thinking about driving it to work. I just love driving it!
