The big news for 2003 is the late-fall arrival of the 760Li, which combines all the greatness of the 745 while adding a 6.0-liter V12. BMW has not released U.S. output ratings, but European specs have it at 408 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The more interesting aspect of the 760Li is that it's the first BMW with direct gasoline injection, which, in combination with the Valvetronic technology already used in the 745 models, allows for stellar performance, and according to BMW, "outstanding fuel economy." We'll wait and see on that one. In other news, all models get rear head-protection airbags, and Active Cruise Control finally makes it to the options list, along with run-flat tires. The Rear Comfort Seat package for the 745Li now includes rear-seat ventilation.

Scrap this car! - 2003 BMW 7-Series
By fazil - February 3 - 2:00 amI have had this car for 10 month and had to take it back to the dealer atleast 20 times. Its is still at the service shop for Piston failure. This car is a nightmare. Buying this car is buying a major Headace. I have had problems with the Nav, the sunroof, the engine, the airbag, and many other nagging electrical problems. BMW needs to do something about this for their customers.

I now have 3 new sets of keyfobs, and a new processor, yet car was dead after a 3 day airport layover. Very familiar with BMW roadside assistance, they are good! $68,789.00 Mistake.

Drivers luxury vehicle - 2003 BMW 7-Series
By Wuon - December 23 - 2:00 amOnly have 300 miles and so far so good. One minor software glitch that resetted itself overnight. Superb driving manner and abundant power. Engine initially idles a bit noisily on cold mornings. I-drive is little overwhelming initially but becomes intuitive with practice. Very comfy seats and cavernous interior. The odd styling grows on you. Cool power trunk.
