Overview & Reviews
After debuting last year, the Volkswagen CC sees a handful of changes for 2010. Among them are the 2.0T's adoption of VW's six-speed automated-clutch DSG transmission (it replaces last year's conventional six-speed automatic), newly standard Bluetooth, a new touchscreen-operated audio system, new wood accents for the VR6 and new rear badging that shows "CC" and indicates the trim level.
- Peppy and fuel-efficient base turbo engine, powerful optional V6, balanced ride and handling, well-equipped, stylish inside and out, available all-wheel drive on VR6 model.

Love, love, love this car - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By Matt - November 7 - 4:16 pmThis car without question is one of the best sport sedan values on the market. Although I have owned performance-oriented cars in the past, I have been consigned to baby- and kid-hauling minivan purgatory for the last ten years. Since the day I bought it, I cant help but smile every time I get it out on the road. There is only one way to go with a car like this: the six-speed manual transmission (even though it annoyed my automatic-only wife). In the short time I have owned the car, I have noticed that it is a real head Turner. The overall execution of the vehicle is just excellent, from fit and finish to materials choice to vroom factor.

I chose a 2010 CC over a 2009 Lexus IS250! - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By mizzmolly - October 23 - 7:23 amI bought a 2010 CC sport turbo last week with 17,939 miles and I absolutely LOVE it! I keep coming up with reasons to leave the house just to drive it. I compared it to a 2009 Lexus IS250 that I test-drove and the CC hands down won. Great price for a slightly larger sedan with luxurious qualities and better gas mileage than the Lexus! I test drove the CC for an entire day and honestly lost count how many heads it turned!!

2010 CC VR6 4Motion - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By vr6guy1 - September 19 - 1:47 amI live in the California Sierra, so AWD was important to me. I opted for the 4 motion VR6, although most professional reviews said it was not worth the money. I am glad I bought the VR6 4Motion. I have previously owned a MB C55, BMW M3, and a BMW X5 Sport. Out of all of these cars, the CC is my favorite because of excellent performance, great looks, and fairly good gas mileage. The car handles superbly on mountain roads. (Note that the VR6 does not come with the DSG transmission in the US-- many reviews are wrong about this).

To Good-looking to resist - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By torpeau - August 10 - 8:30 amI had a 2003 Accord that was trouble-free and was planning to keep it for several more years. Then I saw the VW CC, read the reviews and comments and bought one.

Still Love Driving my CC! - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By toddaspencer - July 1 - 7:44 pmPurchased my CC a couple of years ago, used, with 30k miles on it and now have 61k on it. What a treat, every day. I have never enjoyed driving a car as much as I do my CC. Ive had no breakdowns (knock on wood) and have only had to complete maintenance stuff -- which arent cheap but I believe are part of the answer to keeping a great car up and going strong. I always recommend the CC to anyone else who asks about it. Keep up the great work, VW!

Love my CC - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By B. from FL. - December 22 - 4:06 amMy first German car, and Im impressed. Before my purchase I looked at several American made cars and I was disappointed in the materials used, the power of the 4 cylinder motors. I have owned both Toyotas and Nissans. No style in the Toyotas and not happy with service Dept. with Nissan. The CC drives great drove 9 hours to Key West second week I had it, averaged 32 Miles to the gallon using high test 93 Octane. Get lots of compliments on interior and exterior. Please dont make this a 5 seater 4 is perfect, this is a Sports sedan. I read that several people have had trouble with transmission, I think it is there coordination, I enjoy it better than my Nissans sport CVT trans.

Good not great - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By Chris - December 13 - 10:00 amWife & I have had this car for over 3 months and it hasnt given us any problems. My wife loves it but I have some reservations. There are numerous things that need to be improved upon. This car does not offer a smooth nor quiet ride. The HVAC system is loud and cant keep up when outside temp is above 90. The far left and right air vents in the dash are worthless, as they cant be angled enough to hit the driver or front passenger. No seat memory. Not a fan of the seamless door windows, as one of windows already squeaks every time you get in or out of the car. 1st gear isnt very smooth and the engine shudders until the turbo kicks in. If I wasnt pressured by my wife I woulda kept looking.

no regrets! - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By Jake D - December 6 - 2:00 amAfter all the negative comments and review about VW I had my doubts about ever owning one. I got a chance to drive my friends Jetta GLI and was very impressed. He never had any issues with the GLI and then I saw the first CC driving down the road and I had to have one. I bought the V6 because it was the only silver one they had on the lot. Now, 14 months and 27,000 miles later, it has been the best car I have ever had. Not a single problem, it has performed flawlessly. The dealer is nice, I bought a new Jetta Wagon for my wife 3 months ago. Even after owning it well over a year the CC looks absolutely gorgeous. I am proud of owning it.

CC disappoints - 2010 Volkswagen CC
By Mark Borst - November 9 - 8:46 pmIve had my CC for 4.5 months. Its been in the shop for a month. Ive had difficulty with the transmission being grabby, lurching, inconsistent. Throttle activity has been unpredictable. I never know how the car is going to respond when I hit the gas. VW has replaced my gearbox. Now, a month later, the problem is beginning to recur. I have difficulty with visibility. The bottom of the windshield is a straight horizontal. The hood curves off into oblivion on the outside corners, so its impossible to tell how close your are to a curb or wall in front of you. The automatic up and down motion of the frameless windows as you exit and enter the car gets annoying with time.
