Excellent pick - 2002 Toyota Celica
By hmntafiel1 - October 23 - 10:00 amAlthough this car does not have as much horsepower as the GT-S model, it is still a fun car to drive. Not only that, but the fuel economy of this car is great. I drive on the highway quite a ways since my job is 55 miles one-way and this baby has given me up to 450 miles on a single tank of gas. The ride is not as smooth as lets say- a Lexus, but the suspension is great, especially around those curves. Would definitely recommend this car to anyone who is considering it.

good combination - 2002 Toyota Celica
By mickey - October 9 - 10:00 amI like this car, because of its handling and usability. Yeah, its not a true sport car (no RWD or even LSD), but it is relatively fast, very fun in twisty mountain roads, and autoX. It has good MPG and a lot of space in the trunk, too. So, Id recommend this car to anyone who wants good performance and usability (not for family though).

My sweetheart - 2002 Toyota Celica
By silvenshadow - July 23 - 10:00 amIve driven it HARD for 30,000 mi and it runs flawlessly. Not a 0-60 or a 1/4mi car, but with a skidpad of over .9g it caresses the curves. Balence is excellent. The difference between oversteer, and understeer is only a blip or brake away. Not scary-fast, and the #1 reason I got it: Its the most beautiful thing on the road IMO. Looking for speed-thrills? look elsewhere. Its just a pure experience. I dont need to go past 135mph anyway. And a note to anyone like me: Considering buying one because she shines like a diamond? The feel and spirit of the car will make up for any shortcomings. Ive had mine for 10mo and she still takes my breath away.

I love my Celica - 2002 Toyota Celica
By Silver Bullit - June 27 - 2:26 amIts a fun sporty car to drive; gets excellent gas mileage; and is nice to look at. One drawback is the front end steering/handling going over bumps or raised lines in the roads - its kind of "squirrely" to handle and tires tend to pull to one side or the other. I think this can be fixed by getting better tires than the Dunlaps sold on the vehicle, i.e. Yokohama Tires are better Other than that, its an excellent vehicle - with low cost maintenance too.

Toyota Celica GTS - 2002 Toyota Celica
By BBolick - March 4 - 10:00 amI would recommend buying the GT-S version. It has more pep and great to drive. The GT version is good for the slower driver in mind.

Awesome Car - 2002 Toyota Celica
By Katie Needle - January 22 - 12:56 pmI have owned this vehicle for 2 years and I love it! If you keep it maintained it wont fail you! Ive never had a problem yet, except for one day my rigt side power window didnt work. Then it worked again the next day. Its a great sports car to own before you have a family. I do cart my neices and nephews around in it though!!

This is one smokin ride! - 2002 Toyota Celica
By Levi - December 31 - 3:43 amFor as cheap as you can find these now, these are some of the most fun to drive, and reliable cars around today. Consumer Reports gave it the most reliable sporty car award this model year.

2002 Celica GTS - 2002 Toyota Celica
By ToyGTS - December 1 - 10:00 amI enjoy it everytime behind the wheel. Too bad that Toyota reduced the cut off RPM for 2002, otherwise no complaint. Maybe we could do something for Toyota to reverse that. Brake & handling much better than RSX-S. Its a nice fun car.
